My loan from Advance Mortgage

I am well pleased with the loan that I was able to obtain from Advance Mortgage. Even though the original loan processor with whom I first dealt left the company during the process, the transition to the new agent was smooth, although not completely seamless. Nonetheless, I was treated with respect and attentiveness by the new loan processor. There were some moments of frustration on my part about acquiring all of the needed information, but all in all, it was understanable due to new regulations that now have to be enforced due to the lax policies of some insstitutions in the past that led to the problems that the economy is now facing. My ultimate loan processor did her best to guide me through that minefield.

Good Experience

This was the first time I have completed a mortgage financing completely on-line and I found the experience to be easy, secure and efficient. Advance Mortgage Company was extremely helpful and guided us through the entire process. The seller wanted to close quickly and we were able to finalize everything within two weeks. All projections and estimates were very accurate and there were no surprises at closing. I would highly recommend using Advance Mortgage and would not hesitate to use them for future mortgage transactions.

Highly Recommend

When I submitted my request through lending tree, all 5 companies responded, three actually gathered additional information and made a timely response of a good faith estimate. Advanced Mortgage was by far the most responsive, gave an estimate based on what I want, not a "canned" response that a couple of other make, and then followed through with everything occurring per the estimate. The refinance took close to 3 weeks to complete which was the only "negative" in that I was expecting everything to complete in two. However, given that was minor. These folks were by far the best closing costs, and within an 1/8 point of the best rate, but considering I didn't pay a dime in points, I suspect at the time it was the best rate for the dollar. Bottom line. If you're looking to refinance, I doubt you could do better.

OK Mortgage Company

They always answered my questions when asked. They were quiet unless I asked them something though, so if you need a lot of hand holding, this probably isn't you company. I rated the closing costs average, but they were probably actually pretty good. I just think most of those 'costs' are a rip off. All in all, it was a pretty smooth, positive, experience. No complaints.
