spoke via email, was rude & never called!

I spoke with this company via email & the discussed my situation & the type of loan I required. The person was rude & did not want to discuss any financing options with me. I asked them to call me on the phone to discuss but they never did. What ever happened to customer service? Very Sad:(

Wow

My experience with American Financial was great. Chris Guerin was my rep and he did an outstanding job. He was helpful, professional and walked me through the entire process. He kept me informed of the status at all times. I would highly recommend using AF and especially Chris Guerin! Everything was ready and available on time!

Great Job

My experience working with Jessica Lyons was fantastic!!! She worked so hard to get me in my wonderful home. She worked many, many hours and some of them were "family" time hours. She always kept me informed of what was needed and why, timeframes, explanation of every dime spent, kept the seller's realtor informed, plus my realtor. I have never worked with someone as professional, concerned and efficient as I experienced working with Jessica. She did an awesome job and would recommend her to anyone! I not only accomplished my goal of purchasing a home, but I acquired a new friend. Thanks

Mike Spivey kept me informed every step of the way. Most of the paperwork was either web based or by email. Painless process. Would recommend using them.

Excellent Service

I cannot tell you enough about the terrific service we received. We worked with Robert Benham and he was extremely helpful. He answered all of our questions we had and was on top of everything. He helped us and walked us through step by step and treated us with the utmost respect. I am sincerely grateful to him for making this first home buyers experience so pleasant and painless. It was such a pleasure working with Robert. We cannot thank him enough.

AFR

The second I hit the submit button, I got a call from David. I was a bit scared by the quick response at first, but was so glad I took the time to talk with him. We quickly decided to pursue a loan thru American Financial Resources because of how David was able to answer our questions and was motivated to help us quickly. He said his team could have everything ready on their end in three weeks time or less, and they did! Most things in our process went quite smoothly, until one of the sellers died. But AFR stayed on top of the situation and we ended up closing on time. I would definitely consider going thru AFR again and would recommend David to my friends and family. He made a scary process so much less stressful for us. And now we own a home!

Whirlwind

We had 30day Escrow in a FHA loan, people said it couldnt be done. Thanks to Mike Spivey and his team we succeed and are going on record tomorrow. Communication over telephone and Email was much better that you could expect from a local lender. Would definately recommend AFR to anyone

American Financial Resources Review

Initially AFR was very responsive and eager to process the loan application. The rate was very competitive and the loan officer was very upfront and friendly to work with. There were several times throughout the loan process when we questioned the status of the application and were told it would be moving to the next stage "asap"...only to be contacted 3 days later requesting additional information. There were a few times during the process when phone calls and e-mails weren't returned. Also, some questions posed went unanswered and when we asked them the second time, it was like we were asking them for the first time.

AFR review

I filled out a Lending Tree application in hopes to refinance. I was contacted by James Marrocco with American Financial Resources. James was very personable and very positive. He was honest about the whole process and what was needed. He worked extremely hard on his end to make the refinance a reality, where it may not have been with many other companies. I appreciate all his hard work, honesty, and dedication. Thank you James.
