When it comes to buying a house, there is so much to the process. As a first time home buyer, I was a bit overwhelmed at first and had to get over a few hurdles to make this purchase possible, but I had an excellent mortgage representative which also referred me to an excellent real estate agent who assisted in making sure I was educated, comfortable and aware of the entire process all throughout. I felt AMS Co. worked hard to make this happen for me, and I feel they are an excellent company. I would recommend others to this company.

I wish to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Ms. Joan Wright who served as our lending advisor and literally took us step-by-step in making us credit worthy to buy our very first home. She initiated contact with us while we yet resided in northeast Louisiana and aided us in our transition to southwest Ohio. She remained in regular communications with my wife and I via email and telephone. For a woman who never met us face-to-face she truly treated us like we were family. She advised every single step of the way and talked right through the doors of the realtor's office where signed and closed the deal on our house. Initially, I liked American Mortgage. My contact was on top of things anf knew what he was dealing. I picked a house near the county line and that really fouled things up! Because I financed via HUD and OFHA, it really turned out to be a stick in the mud. My experience was not a good one but I am not going to blame American Mortgage.... I am blaming OFHA and HUD. It would have been nice if Am. Mort would have been able to say to the government entities, "Look, you have it wrong. This is the correct information." This would have sped things up a little. I am thankful for the advice my representitive gave me. His guidance helped me get into a house and stop wasting money on rent.

I had never refinanced a home before, and my credit was not the best. This entire process was streamlined from start to finish. The representative that handled my account was quick, efficient, professional, courteous and knowledgable, and I have already recommended him and the company to several people.
