Quick & easy

I was contacted within one minute of signing up. The first lender also happened to have the best rate and closing cost package, and I closed 10 days later. Couldn't have been easier and the representative (Jim Matteer of Americash) treated me as an adult through the entire process. I'm very satisfied.

Oh so SLOW and UNRESPONSIVE

This was to say at the least painful, everything started out okay but then it became very painful quickly. I found it very frustrating that my brother started his refinancing three weeks after us but closed two weeks before us. I would call and leave a message asking for a status update and get no answer, then I would call and leave a message for the Sr. Processor's boss and get no answer so I would leave a message for the Sr. Processor bosses boss and then I would finally get a call back not from the boss or the bosses boss but from the Sr. Processor and then they would start to do something and make progress till the next slow down and I would call again and again and again. You get the picture now don't you.... The one item that they were good on was with their fees, they closed at what we were quoted us at.

refi's can take patience

Just closed a refinance loan on a jumbo after a long loan process.. Americash provided excellent service and communications at a time when lenders (the banks that provide the money and underwrite the loan process) put EVERYONE under the scrutiny of a microscope. The important thing to remember when you seek mortgage money is the process takes 2-3 times longer than it did a decade ago.. If your application is drawn out, it is not Americash's fault. Americash worked with me over many weeks to provide a long list of documents for the UNDERWRITERS. Think of it as an adult treasure hunt with a big financial reward for you when you close on the loan. Finally, Americash is your ally in this whole process; they do not get paid until the loan is closed! I worked with a very personable and competent mortgage banker at Americash, Mr. Andy Pasillas. He and ALL of the staff I dealt with, over the past few months, at this company were most helpful.... If the mortgage rates keep falling (which I do not expect), I would refi. again, in a heartbeat, with these folks in California.

Started well but ended poorly

I was impressed by my first contact with Americash. Dan McCartney provided good solid information and I received a detailed good faith estimate for my refinance up front which I liked. I can't complain about Dan's performance at all. Once the refinance process got underway however the customer service from Americash became worse and worse. Weeks went by without any contact and the week I was supposed to sign was a mess. The person processing the loan seemed to be at fault. I had to make several phone calls during the final few weeks to find out what was going on. If they fired the loan processing person I expect customer service would be better. From the day I started the process with Americash it took 2 months and 2 days for my old mortgage company to receive the refinance payout. That seems way to long for a simple refinance.

Americash response

Very unhelpful. Needed a VA Refi. When they couldn't do it they brushed me off promptly with no assistance.

LEAVE ME ALONE

They contacted me the very next day after I applied. I didn't like something I heard, so I went back to read their company reviews. The entire first page was awful, I sent them an e-mail requesting no further contact, we will not be doing business. Since then I have received three more calls from two different agents. I've told them repeatedly to "LEAVE ME ALONE" My rating would be zero stars. "ZERO"

Aggressive calling

I CANNOT RATING THE LENDER. CAN YOU PUT 1 STAR FOR EACH OF THE FIVE CATEGORIES PLEASE) I filled out a form on lendingtree.com for house refinancing a month ago and since then Americash has been constantly calling me. In fact, the first call was qithin few minutes. Then about 10 calls within 24 hours and now 3-4 calls a day and leaving voicemail. The agent/person calling "whistles" or leaves comments. I think he is fustrated. I refues to deal with this. You do not call more than twice if soemone wants to call you back, they will. If they do not, don't bother.

americash

After I decided to go with another lender I continued to get phone calls and emails. I really did not appreciate this. The loan officer offered to look over my loan papers for the other lender went with just to offer an objective expert opinon. I thought this was nice, but, did not really understand how this could help me.
