post signing issues

I rated customer service as poor because I have been trying to get a correction to our deed ever since the signing of the document and have had no success. Up to that point, I was happy with the overall service. At our signing, we identified that our deed did not properly identify the manner in which we wanted our loan to be carried/recorded. The notary who administered the signed noted this and returned the information to the title company. I have emailed my contact at the mortgage company. NO RESOLUTION! I have asked for a corrected copy - again, no resolution. I am very discouraged at this point!! The cover letter to the docs carried the information correctly but the actual deed did not. HOW DO I GET RESOLUTION/RESPONSE TO MY ISSUE?

Good interest rate/fees, lousy loan officers

The loan officers and underwriters aren't very knowledgeable about VA loans and there were a lot of surprise requirements/fees that popped up during closing. But they did have the lowest rate/closing fees. You get what you pay for. Be prepared to do a lot of work/research on your own. This was my first home purchase so everything was new to me and the loan officer did a poor job of explaining all the details. If you have been through the VA buying process before and know what to expect this lender is a good deal.

Truly personalized service, extremely responsive, super low rates and fees. I can't think of anything Kim could have done better. I've already referred four people to this lender, specifically this loan officer, Kim Shuey.
