I was not approved with cap one,no reason givin. I have 2 credit cards with cap one,never late,low balance,and credit score has gone up 120 points since having the cards,yet they give no increase. Stay far away,they repo your car if your 1 month late.

I don't understand how you can be good with capital one in having two credit cards and paid on time, never late and get disapproved for a small auto loan. Go figure.

I have a Cap1 loan that I was able to get another bank to refi, then I turned around and refinanced it right back to CapitalOne. The best thing is I got a really sweet deal in the end. Although they don't refinance their own loan I was able to take the loan out of their system and bring it back. Now that is the way to go for a really sweet interest rate if you can find another bank to take the loan from Cap 1 first.

The response time was excellent, but they allow you do complete all of the paperwork before sending you a reject letter stating they don't refinance their loans. Shouldn't they have known this from the beginning when I listed them as the loan holder of my current vehicle?? I was very disappointed as the rate they were offering was 8% lower than the 20.73% of my original loan.
