Working with Clear Summit Mortgage was overall a positive experience. Scott was helpful and very responsive, and worked through different options to find terms I was happy with. They were able to offer an interest rate 1/8 point lower than anyone else. The only negative was the final closing costs were $700 more than the good faith estimate. However, even with that additional cost, they were competative with the other estimates. Combined with the lower rate, I still came out ahead.

Having onlt recently immigrated from the UK I did not realise the emphasis which lenders place on having a USA credit history. I could not even get a credit card through my USA bank. However Clear Summit were prepared to take into account my excellent credit history in the UK and for that I am grateful. Their customer service was excellent.

I originally deceicded to refinance my home in September 2009 with the intent of paying off high credit card debt. A mortgage consultant from Clear Summitt, Evan Kreitzer called me for my initial application. I cannot even begin to express my sincere gratitude towards Mr. Kreitzer. He was positive from the get go that I would qualify for a mortgage and never made me feel bad about all the debt that I incurred. My credit score was a low 480, and although I was paying ontime with my creditors, my personal bank declined loan application, due to debt income ratio. Evan never gave up and remained positive throughout the entire process. Two additional banks had their limitations to my loan and finally a third bank came through with the loan. I owe all of thiis to one individual. Evan Kreitzer from Clear Summit. Despite everything I had to go through, he communicated on a daily basis no matter if the news was good or bad. He recognized how much this loan meant to me and how much of my stress would be relieved. I can only commend his efforts in the highest recommendation to anyone applying for a home loan. I have never met Evan personally, but over the last few months I feel as if I had. I plan to recommend Mr. Kreitzer to anyone the I know or come in contact with who is applying for a mortgage. Thank You Evan from the bottom of my heart!

It would be wrong to not tell you that Clear Summit was not my first choice. I tried Atlantic Pacfic Mortgage first and would not recommend them to anyone. I paid them an application fee, worked with for over forty five days and then after my mortgage was approved I could not get them to return a phone call or an email. Had to transfer the apprisal to Clear Summit, which took Atlantic Pacfic Mortgage over a week to complete. Clear Summit did an excellent job and they would be highly recommended.

Clear Summit was outstanding and explained IN DETAIL every step of the process and answered all questions. Ryan Shaefer was great. He explained the different options and truely cared that we got the best mortgage to fit our financial needs....the others just shoved teaser numbers at you which ended up being wrong....Clear Summit did not do this. Glad we chose them and I highly recommend anyone looking to refinance...look at Clear Summit. Ask for Ryan Shaefer. Also, can't forget about Jamie...she helped Ryan at the end with closing. Thanks Jamie!!

A representative from this company went ballistic when I told her I was not choosing her offer. She yelled at me and called me dishonest. I would not recommend working w/ clear summit mortgage.

Although the rep. was friedly and while working out the loan the first day after that I had to call for any update only to find out there was a problem clearing the title. (minor but I should have been told)
