Tried alot of different lenders but this one and my personal lender Patrick Bossio was far more helpful than the rest! He always looked out for my best intrest, me bein a first time home buyer. i felt like the other co. were out there to rip me off but Patrick made sure i got the best deal i could possible get,which i think i did,would recommend this lender to anyone in the market for buying a home!

In spite of the ridiculous roadblocks created by Dodd-Frank, First Preferred made it as painless as possible to consummate this loan. I would recommend them. They are knowledgeable and unflappable.

Any concerns I had about mortgage loans via internet were put to rest by First Preferred representatives (especially Scott Merlie). He listened to my goals, discussed a variety of options, was not "pushy" at all, and was a great source of information. Good decisions are based on good information and Scott at First Preferred knows his stuff. Communication was frequent and very clear, there were no misunderstandings or issues left hanging, and the process went quite smoothly. My wife and I are very pleased with the overall experience and strongly recommend First Preferred!

I refinanced from Okinawa, so had a 14 hour time difference from EST for a refinance at home in Virginia. I asked a number of questions and always had an email response w/in usually about 12 hours. I found service to be responsive, cooperative and proactive. I was walked through some complex documents so I could complete them in a timely and accurate manner. Overall I was very pleased with caliber and attentiveness of service. Much of the documentation I was unfamiliar with, as would be pretty much most people who refinanced, and at every step where I asked for assistance I received it very professionally and personally, in a timely manner. I was very pleased.

This was a different experience, because I am not computer wise. However when there was a problem, receiving or sending, Ms. Brown, and the staff were most gracious and helpful. The lady from the closing company, was very helpful and explained each item and was able to answer any of our concerns.

From the very first contact I was impressed. Another lender I was considering asked for a credit card number in the third sentence to me. First Preferred took the time and explained a lot before anything like that was brought up. Very personable persons to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend First Preferred! Pat was the name of the man who helped us and we can't imagine better service as he personally helped us through each step of the process and patiently explained all of our questions. He actually made it an enjoyable process despite what could have otherwise been very confusing or frustrating. In addition to the amazing service, we were so excited about the low rates/fees that what we got at that time. We would happily recommend this company, and specifically Pat, to anyone looking to refinance.

Working on a refinance with First Preferred was not only quick and easy, but also very informative and a lot of fun. If you need to refinace, ask for Scott Merlie. You won't be disappointed. Scott spent all the time I needed to have all of my myriad questions answered, weighing various options, computing "what if" scenarios, and talking about whatever I needed to talk about. The rate we got is really excellent and the other costs were all in line with the norm (I gave it a 4 because really excellent fees and closing costs would be $0). The experience could not have been better.
