MELISSA IS THE BEST!

With Lending Tree, I found that Great Western had the best terms, so I teamed up with Melissa Gautreaux for a refinance in 2010. She handled the transaction so well, I recommended her to my friends, and even refinanced again with her in Jan 2012! She was efficient, professional, and sharp. She answered all of my questions quickly, sometimes before I even asked them. It was smooth sailing all the way, and we got this done with almost no effort on my part. Even when I wanted to make changes, she had new paperwork to me right away. I didn't have to keep track of anything, Melissa followed up on each detail... she did ALL of the work. And in record time, I believe. Thanks, Melissa!

Good Experience

Our appraisal came in low but we were still able to refinance and save over $500 a month by combining two mortgages. Initially, we were told that we would not have to come up with any money even with the low appraisal, but we did have to bring money to closing so that mis-information was a little dissappointing. We had to request a copy of our appraisal rather than it being sent to us and we have not received our closing documents. I'm sure that we will receive them as soon as we ask, but it seems that we should have received these without asking. Bottom line - the money savings is worth it.

Our refinance process with Shane Dishman went flawlessly until the HUD statement was delivered the day of closing. On it was a $150 fee for the notary to deliver the closing papers to our home. Shane had not advised us of this fee and we did not want to pay it since it was easy enough for us to go to the title company's office for the closing. Rather than delay the closing and incurr costs to have the closing papers redone, Shane offered to reimburse us for the fee. Although it did take 3 weeks to receive, Shane followed through with his commitment. Aside from this one matter, the entire process was surprizingly easy and fast. From inital contact with Shane to date of closing was only 16 days.

Good experience with Great Western Financial

Contact was made with Great Western Financial on 11/18 and we closed on 12/1. Bill Rolhoff kept us informed of our loan progress and found a closing location convenient for us. The rate was the best and the closing cost were reasonable. Our experience with Great Western Financial was easy, efficient, and timely.

Fast, Helpful and Personable

Bobby Nichols was extremely helpful in quiding me through the refinance process and was very quick to respond to my phone and email inquiries in a friendly, helpful and personable way. Glad It Finally Was Completed

Had a little issue with Great Western requesting information, us providing it and then GW asking for more information. We would provide the requested information and then something else was requested. Also, every time we submitted the information we had to re-sign the documents. I changed my employment dates on the main document 4 different times and my changes were ignored. Then they called my employer 3 times! I found the GW process very frustrating this time. Rate was good, but I requested no escrow and that was ignored. I requested a copy of the appraisal several times before I received it. I felt like there was no attention to detail until someone had an 'aha' moment.
