Disappointed

I do not recommend Lending Club to anyone looking for a loan. Even if your loan becomes fully funded and they say you are approved; it doesn't mean that you will receive the loan. They will wait until your ad expires and then remove the listing. This is a complete waste of time, and while I was waiting on them to approve my loan I went with another lender who was very responsive and had my loan issued to me in less than a week. Do not waste your time with this lender.

horrible lending service

at first they stated i qualify for a loan and it started to be funded. 2 days later they cancelled my account with no notice or anything. i reapplied and the same exact thing happened. i emailed their customer service (because when i called they transferred me to a diff dept and was forced to leave a vmail) no one ever called so i emailed them and told them why is this happening, their response was "we couldnt identify you" i replied back asking what i need to do to be verify myself which they have yet to respond. very poor lendor

lender says they can help you and then all sudden says they cant. tried for debt consolidation notified all bills are being consolidated and said debt to income to high? If I put all bills in one loan debt to income would be extremely low!

Disappointed

I too am disappointed in this company. They approved me for the full amount I requested, and showed dozens of people funding my loan. Then four days into the funding, they call me and tell me that they can only approve me for less than half of what I'd requested. When I said that wouldn't work for me they said they'd cancel the loan for me. I agree that it was a waste of time, and hurts your credit by being a waste of an inquiry.

I think it is very rude to accept my high credit score and tell me i dont have enough debt i have a decent credit score because i dont keep a lot of debt. It is unfair we people who dont over use credit shouldnt be punished for living within our means.

Less than 10% of loans are approved

This lender will string you along until the last possible moment and then abruptly cancell your application. Less than 10% of loans are approved. This information comes directly from their website. To me, it was very much a waste of time.
