Exceeded My Expectations!

It was such a pleasure doing business with LJI. I received a great rate and a very educated account representative to help me through this, sometimes stressful, process. From the get go, Michael provided me with ALL of my options for refinance with very detailed information so that I could make an informed decision regarding my loan. He was extremely responsive to all of my questions whether email or by phone and provided me with frequent updates, etc which helped to push things along very quickly. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a loan. Michael exceeded my expectations.

One of the Best

I want to express my satisfaction with the service provided to me by Michael Nichter during my mortgage refinancing. Michael was either there when I called or returned my calls promptly. His responses to questions were clear and informative and he helped me every step of the way to the very end of the process. I have been involved in many real estate closings as I was an active real estate investor. This was a unique positive experience. I could not be more pleased in the excellent service that I have received.

Easy Refi with a Great Rate

This was our first time through the refinance process, so we weren't sure what to expect. After soliciting a number of quotes through Lending Tree and other sources, the LJI quote was among if not the most attractive offer we received. I was admittedly wary about using a company in a different part of the country, but they checked out with the BBB so I decided to give them a try. I asked a LOT of questions, and Josh was extremely patient and helpful in getting me answers. He also took the time to explain the history of the company and how they do business, which helped to explain how they are able to offer such competitive rates. His willingness to be so transparent really set my mind at ease. We were able to get through the process in only a few weeks, even though we were in no particular rush. I found Josh to be very responsive via email, which was my preferred method of communication. When at the last minute there was an unexpected rise in closing costs requested from the lender, Josh was quick to investigate and explain what had happened (turned out to be a change in required escrow deposit, not an additional fee or anything of that nature). All in all, we had a great refi experience with LJI and I would definitely recommend them to friends or family.

Great refi company!

Michael closed our loan 10 days after initial Lending Tree application! That's great customer service. LJI has excellent, no pressure communication and the closer came to our house making things very easy. Very professional company with nothing hidden in costs. I had almost used a credit union but Michael said he could most likely beat their costs and he did. Probably saved me $1200 in closing costs. Thanks LJI !

Very Easy to Work With

We are very pleased with LJI. The staff, especially Joshua, was very responsive and easy to work with and not at all pushy like some of the other lenders/brokers were. In this economy, we were also happy to learn that LJI was local/regional and that our fees stayed within the local economy. We recommended LJI to others before we were even through our own refinance. Thanks to Lending Tree for connecting us!

Great rates, poor follow through

Overall, a disappointing experience. They had great rates and nice closing costs. However, as a broker, they have no pull with their lending institution. The institution sent out an unqualified appraiser, and when the appraisal was disputed, they ignored the fact that two "comps" were foreclosures. LJI did nothing to assist with this process. Communication from LJI has been non-existent -- culminated today with a denial letter from their lender due to the pitiful appraisal.

Refinance

After reviewing options with my current mortgage lender and local banks, I gave Lending Tree a try and was contacted by LJI. Rich was my initial contact and he was very helpful and straight forward with all my options. He provided excellent information which helped me with my decision to use LJI for my mortgage refinance. Michael took over my loan from this point and was again great to work with. This team was very profession and responsive to all of my quesitons and made the entire process about as easy as it probably could be. I very glad I made the decsion to use LJI.

I would do it all over again...

After considering all my options (both from Lending Tree & from outside Lending Tree), I decided to go with LJI Wealth Management. They were located in my city (as opposed to branches all over the U.S.) that I was interacting with) and were personal from the very beginning. I dealt with Michael the whole time and he was great. I asked a ton of questions a ton of times and he was patient with me every time. All things considered, LJI's numbers were the best (interest rate, closing costs, etc.). They also connected me with a great lender, Provident Funding. I have already sent business to them since and intend to do so again in the future. Check them out. You will not be disappointed.

Difficult Task

We wanted to refinance our home because we suffered a decrease in income and needed to reduce our monthly payments. We had several lenders offer us great rates but when it came down to making the loan "happen" they wanted to switch to ARMs. Josh worked with us and was very open and honest throughout the whole process. He worked very hard to make out loan "happen". He got us a fixed rate mortgage with all the stipulations we required. I will be the first to tell you that we made him work very hard throughout the process and we were not the easiest people to work with. I can honestly say there will be no other lender out there that will work harder for you. Thank YOU Joshua!

Excellent service

We closed the loan from start to finish in 11 days. Everybody tell me that it is unheard of, especially in the middle of this refinance boom. I had competitive rate quotes from other lenders but what made me chose LJI was Josh's excellent customer service. Josh took time to understand my requirements and presented me with multiple options to meet my needs. The whole process was very smooth from start to finish. I am recommending Josh and LJI to all of my friends looking to refinance.
