Outstanding

We used this lender through our initial purchase 6 years ago and he was outstanding. We continued to use him and would use him again any time.

Unprofessional is the best description

My loan consultant was Chris Hendrix. He called once and took my information and told me he would have a pre qualification letter emailed to me the next day . After that he refused to return my calls or emails. After talking to an expert loan consultant from another bank, it became apparent this loan consultant (Chris Hendrix) would not have been able to make a quick buck. The funny part is all the only thing I needed to do was put my current home on the market to fully qualify. This is an unprofessional bank that you should avoid at all cost.

Top Notch Experience

Thank you Suzie and National Bank of Kansas City for a smooth and easy mortgage loan process. I told Suzie from the outset that we wanted to close in 4 weeks. At the 3 week mark our loan was ready to close. There were no surprises. Suzie was on top of everything. The entire process was done via email. Thanks again.

Mortgage

This was one of the smoothest experiences I've ever had with a mortgage provider. Their knowledge of the VA process was superb. I highly recommend them to anyone purcahsing with VA entitlements.

National Bank of Kansas City Experience

My wife and I closed on our home on June 10, 2011. Our experience with the National Bank of Kansas City was sensational! Michael Morris, our loan officer, not only expedited our closing date several days before it was due, but was very proactive in making the entire transaction a very smooth process. In fact, we sent a copy of our GFE (Good Faith Estimate) to another top competitor, so they could attempt to beat the deal. Not only could the “other vendor” not beat the deal, as well later, conceded that National Bank of Kansas City had given us an immense deal. From the first day we spoke with Michael Morris on the phone, until the day we closed, Michael kept us informed of every step. In addition, not only were we impressed with the service, but our well seasoned realtor cited rave reviews for the professionalism and promptness received from Michael Morris with National Bank of Kansas City! Thanks Michael!

VA Loan Professionals

I just closed on my home September 27, 2011, only 31 days from the date of my purchase contract. Along the way, Greg Ramirez of National Bank of Kansas City was with me every step of the process. His responsiveness was always immediate, even when it appeared that he might have been out of town. When I didn't expect to receive communications from him except on business days, I was especially surprised to get replies back from him on weekends and evenings. His explanations were detailed and accurate, and he was always courteous and professional. Although I was never totally confident that the loan was going to process successfully, Greg didn't waiver in his commitment to making it work. As constructive feedback, my purchase contract included a good number of expense items that the seller agreed to pay for, many of which needed to be paid before closing (i.e., home inspection, termite inspection, appraisal fee, and minor repair or replacement items). What I did not learn until sometime after I had paid for these items out of pocket was that a buyer cannot receive any cash back at closing on a VA loan in excess of his earnest money. Since my contract covered virtually every expense associated with my purchase, I was pretty much guaranteed getting my earnest money back. It took some serious work the week of closing to find a way to be reimbursed for the other expenses, an emotional exercise I could have avoided if better informed up front on how to handle these kinds of costs during the escrow process. It all turned out well despite this small glitch. Greg is a real pro and I look forward to the opportunity to send him more business. Lending Tree put me in touch with National Bank of Kansas City and the rest is a success story. Way to go Greg!

Consistent and Reliable

After submitting my information on Lending Tree my phone rang within a couple of minutes. Amy from National Bank of Kansas City had seen my application. From the beginning, she was very cheerful, helpful, reliable, and consistent. If she said she would do something it was done in a timely manner. She answered all of my many questions and answered some of them more than once with great patience. Amy was available throughout the entire home buying process and I would recommend them very highly.

Excellent

It is refreshing to know that there are employees and companies that still have morals , ethics, and care about the average potential home buyer.. Any questions that I had for the seller agent or National Bank of Kansas were answered that day or the next morning. Seller agent rarely complement lending institutions although in this case there is an exception. There was immediate feedback and any documents that were requested by the borrower (me) or the seller agent. Continue with the level of support given to me to all of your customers.

Details of loan

The loan process went smoothly. We didn't like the appraiser's valuation, but that didn't inhibit the loan in any way- rate, amount, time, etc. The loan officer was prompt with responses and exact with the good faith estimate.
