They responded immediately to my request for a quote. Paul Ricco was so proffesional and curtious and wanted to meet my needs for the re-fi. He answered every question and kept me very informed during the process. He made it easy to communicate with him and did not leave me hanging on anything. Very honest and responsive

I made the mistake of going with a lender who quoted me a better rate but in the end, they pulled the bait and switch which left me a little higher than what Royal United quoted me in the first place. Through my whole awful ordeal, I kept communicating with Jim Groth at Royal United and he was always honest, prompt and polite. He told me up front what the other company was doing (not in a salesman type way) and he was spot-on. If I were to do this refinance over, I definitely would have chosen Jim Groth because what he quoted me would have been what I would have received as opposed to being caught by a scummy salesman. Jim actually looked over the good faith estimate I got from the other company and warned me that they were lying but I fell for it. To the end, Jim was a man of character and that's really who I should have done business with.

Refinancing from Royal United Mortgage

My recent experience when refinancing my home with Ben Duke of Royal United Mortgage could not have been easier or faster. Ben carefully guided me through the process, explaining at each step what was needed, keeping me aware of my loan status and what the next step would be. Ben cheerfully gave me all the information I needed, and I was able to reach him any time I had a question. Before my experience with Royal United Mortgage, I fully expected the refinance process to drag out for a very long time and be a mystery. To my pleasure, I understood exactly what was happening at all stages, and was impressed at how quickly the entire process went. I would not hesitate to give Ben Duke a call at Royal United Mortgage again for any mortgage need I would have in the future.

Refinanced my home, used equity to pay off other higher interest charges. Almost all paperwork completed online or via fax. Closer came to the house to close on a Saturday. Service was excellent, fees are a pain, but one of those things.

Great process

We recently refinanced our mortgage with Royal United. Our loan officer Robin, was extremely responsive throughout the entire process. She always returned my calls and emails very quickly regardless of the time. Robin kept us updated every step of the way. totally thrilled

Our refinance

The broker we worked through was both very responsive and very easy to work with. She found the best rate we have seen in a long time and how we can be mortgage free in 5 years. This has been our goal since we took out our first in 2003 and the second in 2006. Royal United, especially their brokers, are very easy to reach and get back with the information requested in a very short time.

She was initially the first person we contacted, through our haste we decided to go w/ a different lender. What a mistake! When I informed Audrey we were going w/ a different lender she was genuinely understanding and polite. She asked me to keep her in mind if it did not work out. Well, that's actually what happened. I checked out a couple of lenders, and it was easy to decide to go with Royal United. The adviser was very helpful and answered my questions without hesitation. Harrassing!!! Leave me alone!

I sent in a request through Lending tree, and Royal United was the first offer I received. Unfortunately, I was pulled into an all-day meeting meeting when they called and e-mailed initially, so I couldn't respond. I received a second call 2 hours later, so I e-mailed them back to say I would contact them when I had time since I was in a meeting. Since then, I've received 13 calls in a 1 hour timeframe, all from different numbers, but the same area code. I finally had to step out of the meeting, answer the phone and tell them to stop calling me. We'll see if that works. They might be good, but you'd better be able to answer the phone when they call, or they won't stop.

We often find that pairing a client with multiple lenders to compete for their business can be confusing and at times overwhelming. Royal United is committed to attempting to contact a client twice a day via phone and twice via email. This is my second time using lending tree and another good experience. Audrey with Royal United was a pleasure to work with she took the time to answer any and all questions. She also was not pushy and just presented the facts. My loan had some unique things involved and through the whole process she was very knowledgeable and great at explaining. I started by inquiring about refinance through Lending Tree not knowing that I would receive a phone call, literally within minutes. It was Jeremy. The first thing he asked me was, what are my goals in refinancing? I knew from that moment he was interested in my business. You know that I was contacted by several companies, none of which asked me that simple question. After investigating your company and receiving similar offers I decided on Royal United Mortgage for one reason, Jeremy. Review Title

I have been working with Steve Shay to refinance my mortgage since my husband's death in 2007. I had three attempts at refinancing and to no avail. Submitted my request and received 4 offers right away. Sam Floyd from Royal made a great first impression - one that held up. Walked through the process with ease. Although the above rating section was out of order, I would give my Loan Avdviser, Gina Recker all 5's if I could. She was the first advisor to call me back and from that call through the whole process, was excellent to work with. ALL DONE IN 15 DAYS!!

I have been thru a bad experience with a refinance and didnt get the money out needed, so thought I try again. Applied with Leaning Tree. Got the call from Royal United, very friendly, said he thought they could help me out. By the next day, I had the complete quotes guaranteed to not waiver too much by the end of the process. I was so impressed with the efficiency and the professionalism. Everything went through perfectly as planned and it was all done in 15 days. Totally a miracle! My last experience was 5 months!! I cant say enough about the help I received. Everything was explained to me in detail as I am not knowledgeable in this area and all my questions were answered. Very specific, everytime he said he would call me back with some info, it was exactly the time he said. That sevice is outstanding. I had come out of a refinance that, yes, took 5 months, never knew who I was supposed to talk to, where the loan was, (because it disappeared for about a month) sending in same info over and over again, rarely talking to the same person.Then ended with big settlement fee that I was not made aware of and I didnt receive the cash out expected. I truly have to thank the young man that represented Royal United Mortgage for an impressive job well done and will refer anybody looking for a refinance, equity loan, etc. to this company. I know if I ever need help again, I'll be right back here.

Rude and fail to return calls . Leave you hanging expect you to take whatever they offer

Royal United Mortgage Response

Unfortunately, the client referenced below never made a formal application with Royal United. Based on this fact, we are unable to respond to the accusations made. We do have record that two different Advisors from our company attempted to reach the borrower four times via phone and email to discuss and understand the clients goals and objectives. We do not have any record showing the client attempted to reach Royal United either by phone or email. We take great pride in making sure ever client we work with is 100% satisfied. This is evident given our customer service and responsiveness rate from every client who has ever rated us is 5 stars.

Re Finance

The company is great to work with. The customer service representative are courteous and loyal. On many occasions during the process my contact was available after normal business hours to answer questions and help me walk through the process. He also assisted in making the best choices for my situation. The interest rates were comparable to other offers. Overall, I would recommend this company to anyone.

Great experience

Robin, our assistant, was wonderful to work with. Helped us every step of the way, gathered precise info, worked late to assist us on our schedule, and answered all of our questions. Start to finish, was a 2 week process. Very timely.

Brad Redman is the BEST!

My Senior Loan Advisor was so very helpful and made the process so much easier than the prior 2 banks I tried to get a HELOC from. It is tough to get one of these, even when you own your own home free & clear! Brad guided me through the tangled web of paper work & got me a GREAT interest rate. He was truthful and honest and made me feel very comfortable with this big financial decision. He was a true professional, always responsive, answering my questions before I could even ask them! RUM was GREAT!

Nice People but Poor Communication

Poor communication between loan officer and underwriter regarding underwriter’s requirements. Since we had investment properties, we knew that our loan would take a little longer than usual. We submitted tax returns and lease agreements during the first week of the loan process. The loan officer repeatedly told us how “clean” our file was. 4 weeks later, the underwriter ended up denying our loan because of a discrepancy between our tax returns and lease agreements. We had a perfectly good reason for the discrepancy, but the underwriter and the loan officer did not seem interested in continuing the loan process, even if we gave them a letter of explanation. So the bottom line is that the underwriter should have asked for an explanation when they FIRST received the documents, not a month later. We did not think of the details at the time because we were just concerned with getting the requested documents to them quickly. THEY are supposed to be the professionals and ask the questions. But no!-We had a “CLEAN FILE” up until the DAY BEFORE our loan was denied.

Brad Redman was great through the whole experience. He was always helpful and quick to respond to any questions. He went out of his way to find a loan that would work for me. I would not hesitate to reccomend him or the company to any of my friends or family.

Through the entire process the Senior Loan Advisor, Brad Redman, took my hand and did not let go. He is awesome!! Brad made sure I had everything needed to understand what was going on with the process, he answered all my questions without hesitation in a professional and confident manner. High fives to Royal United Mortgage

In todays business world customer service tends to lack in many aspects but the service I received from my Loan officer Jordon H. was outstanding! Was willing to help me decide what type of loan would be better for me and even able to get a lower rate. In fact, everyone that I had come into contact with at Royal United was very friendly and knowledgable. It made for a very pleasant experience and a positive outcome. I would highly recommend Jordan at Royal United Mortgage. If he can not help you get it done than no one can. It's been a real pleasure and if I need anything further I know what number to dial.

DId U get the Fax on loaning?

I asked Audrey, "Did you get the fax on the Loan?" No, she reply s again after the fifth time! Finally, I decide to scan it and then email it. Guess what? It would only fax blank sheets of paper since the last documents I faxed previously were blocking the fax from going through. It all worked out in the end! That was the only problem I had with this loan. Other than, ignoring Audrey's follow up calls while searching for other lenders. Then finally came to the conclusion the only lender to work with is ROYAL UNITED MORTGAGE so I answered Audrey's last follow up call and the rest is history. Audrey is up front about everything to where you can recite the loan yourself by the time the notary comes for signing. There are no secrets at all.

Positive Review of Royal United

The loan origination and processing side of the Royal United refi was superb. Audrey Mc. took phenomenal care of me. The closing was less smooth, partially because I chose to close there while I was passing thru Tallahassee FL. The service that Royal United used to close in Tallahassee was not set up to do an electronic close so we had to do a paper close with a polite professional N.P.. My issue came with the time it took to wire the funds to my bank. rather than the 3 working days I had been told it would take to wire the funds it took 6. Fortunately I was able to manage my finances until the funds arrived. I recommend Royal United but would encourage an electronic closing and a time/date certain for the funding.

Pleasant Experience

This was my first time using an on-line lending service. Royal Mortgage contacted me within 10 minutes of my submitting my request. Eric, my contact, was personable, knowledgable and responsive. He walked me through the process explaining the steps and making sure I knew what I needed to do next. I really liked the fact that this company is 'green' meaning everything is done electronically rather than sending reams of paper back an forth. Plus you don't have all the 'down time' of waiting for the mail. Their rates were competitive and closing cost were lower than others who contacted me.

Pleasant Experience

We found Royal United Mortgage to be quick, knowledgable,professional and friendly. Brock Haselby was the very first person to contact us within minutes of talking with Lending Tree.
