No Counter Offers
From first day the assoicate of the lending company was johnny on the spot. He spoke of how there was no problem to getting a loan, that he had sent it through his underwiters the first day. We were to close on the 15th day and then the trouble began, the appraiser wasn't able to perform it, then the underwriters held it up, then when we were to close, no word from anyone and when we inquired about it, it was denied and no counter offer was offered. Who does not offer a counter offer? The associate didn't even try to counter offer it. So, it tells me when the associate dont get their hiked up commission, to bad for the client.

Royal United Mortgage Response
At Royal United Mortgage, our goal is to provide our clients with an informed choice of financial solutions that will help them build a better life. In our initial conversation with a client, we rely on the information provided from the client in order to offer them the best solutions for their individual need. In reviewing this particular case the problem with fulfilling the loan came down to the type of property the client owned. Once the property was appraised, it was clear that the initial information provided by the client was inaccurate. Unfortunately, there were no products available for the unique circumstances related to the clients property therefore no counter offer was able to be made. For Royal United Mortgage, making a difference in the lives of the customers and communities we serve is our top priority. Our track record over time has proven this to be true.
