And, there probably is not that much wall space to paint because of the cabinets. (Of course, that means a lot of taping instead.) Find the ones that fit your taste and budget and spend an hour decorating your kitchen with a new look.

Although replacing the kitchen cabinetry may not fit into your budget, changing the look of your existing cabinets is a great decorating idea. You can paint your cabinets to create a new look in your kitchen. This is a very intensive project, but you will save a great deal of money if you do this yourself as opposed to replacing your cabinets. You can even try leaving the doors off some of the cabinets to make them more of display shelves, or replacing the panels on some of the doors with glass.
Accessories
You need towels and rugs in the kitchen. Make these a part of your decorating. Pick towels that are attractive and add a nice touch to your kitchen. Buy rugs that enhance the look of the flooring. Towels and rugs are a very cheap decorating trick, but be purposeful about your purchases so that you get the look that you want.
