LendingTree was recognized as the runner up for the 2003 KPMG Hi-Tech Company of the Year. As the 2002 winner of the award, LendingTree was certainly honored to be recognized two years running. Each year, the winners are selected from the annual ranking of high-tech companies that KPMG compiles for the competition based on quantitative measures. A number of performance indicators for high-tech companies are considered when naming each year's winner, rather than limiting it to revenue growth or market value.
