In your opinion, what makes LendingTree different from other places you've worked?

The best thing about LendingTree is that they truly care about their employees! Through the pandemic alone our leadership team rolled out so many new benefits to our employees such as tutoring resources for children, Talkspace which is a free chat therapy service, and work from home stipends/reimbursements to make sure we were being taken care of during such a difficult time in the world.

Why did YOU choose LendingTree?

I chose LendingTree because of the experience I had during the interview process. Everyone I met with seemed genuinely happy to be working here and I knew it was a culture I needed to be a part of!

What qualities make someone successful at LendingTree?

Someone who embodies our core principles. I have worked other places where the core values are displayed on the wall for new hires and you never hear about them again. At LendingTree I feel that each employee truly embodies what we stand for. Unfamiliar with our core principles? Check them out here!<br />

What interview tip would you give a candidate?

Be prepared. Refresh your memory on the job description and also have your resume pulled up. Sometimes we get nervous in interviews and forget things - being prepared is one way to help avoid this.

What is your favorite guilty pleasure?

Bravo TV...need I say more.

What qualities makes someone successful at LT?

Passion for what you do and a positive attitude. LendingTree is a very collaborative company that does an excellent job of bringing different departments together to work towards a common goal, so being able to work well with others is paramount.

What would you give as an interview tip to someone?

Do your research! Learn about our company culture and reflect on the reason you’d like to work at LendingTree. Be willing to do the extra things that show us how you’re different than any other candidate. Above all else, we want people that REALLY want to work here!

What has been your most memorable moment at LT?

It’s a tie between my 1st in-person interview and my 1st Town Hall meeting. The interview was so memorable because I was just completely taken away by the company culture; just how laid back and “cool” everything seemed. The Town Hall meeting because it showed me just how passionate everyone here is – from executives to interns, you could tell that people LOVE this company, and the results speak for themselves.

If you were to perform in the circus, which act would you most want to perform?

I’d want to be the lion tamer, subduing some of the most fearsome creatures on earth!

Name one thing on your “bucket list”.

Well, it’s not so much a single thing, but for me I want to spend as much time as possible enjoying time with my kids before they’re all grown up.
