Capital One® VentureOne® Rewards Credit Card Overview
With the Capital One® VentureOne® Rewards Credit Card, you'll get 1.25 miles per dollar you spend on every purchase with the card. With no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees, you won't waste a penny of your rewards on fees. Plus, you may use your miles for flights, hotel stays, car rentals, or cruises.
In addition, this card comes with Visa Signature® benefits, including fraud protection, concierge service, travel upgrades and savings, access to preferred seating at entertainment events, and 24-hour travel assistance. Some of these perks alone may make it worth getting the card.
No fees. This card doesn't charge an annual fee. You also won't pay foreign transaction fees on overseas purchases, making it perfect for the international traveler.
Bonus miles. 20,000 bonus miles are all yours when you spend $1,000 in the first three months.
Intro APR. Get a 0% intro APR on purchases for 12 months. This is perfect if you want to make a major purchase, but need some time to pay it off and don't want to waste your money on expensive interest rates you may find with other cards.
Requires excellent credit. You'll need excellent credit to qualify for this travel rewards card.
Better travel rewards available. If you're loyal to a particular airline or hotel, there's a good chance there are higher rewards available to you, at the cost of flexibility in how you spend those rewards.
What It Looks Like in Real Life
Want to get about $400 in free travel your first year with this card? Just spend around $1,300 per month on the card, and you'll get close to 40,000 miles, including your bonus miles. Not a bad haul since there's no annual fee. Redeem those miles through a statement credit on your card within 90 days of making the travel purchase with your card.
Should You Get the VentureOne®?
The Capital One® VentureOne® Rewards Credit Card is a pretty sweet travel rewards card. You're not limited to redeeming your travel rewards with a certain carrier, and you're still getting a great rewards rate on a card with no annual fee. Plus, if you like to travel overseas, you won't waste your money on foreign transaction fees. However, if you're loyal to one carrier, you'll get better rewards elsewhere. But if that doesn't matter to you, and you like flexible point redemption and simple rewards earnings, then consider this card.

Great Customer Service and Very easy to redeem points.
Nice travel card with low annual fees
I enjoy having the Capital One Venture and like it because it gives a standard 2 miles for every dollar I spend. Other cards offer a lot of limited time promotions or specials, which Capital One doesn't, but that just makes it easy to spend and get miles. Plus, it's really easy to redeem miles when you need them.
Good card for tourists
Great card & no annual fee. Works really well for earning travel miles.
