Citi Simplicity® Card - No Late Fees Ever Overview
The Citi Simplicity® Card - No Late Fees Ever is a top notch credit card offering an outstanding 0% introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers for 21 months. No late fees. If late payments are a bane to your credit, then this card is for you.
No annual fee. You won't pay a dime to put this card in your wallet.
Intro APR. 0% interest on purchases and balance transfers for 21 months is a great deal!
No rewards. This is not a rewards credit card, so don't expect bonus points, miles, or cash back. What you're getting is an excellent introductory APR offer.
Requires excellent credit. You'll need excellent credit to qualify for this card.
Balance transfer fee. As you may expect, this card charges a balance transfer fee of $5 or 3% of the transfer amount, whichever is greater.
What It Looks Like in Real Life
Let's say you made a $3,000 purchase with this card, right out the gate. You'd have 21 months to pay it off. With any other card, you'd be paying interest on your purchase, upwards to a fifth of the purchase price over that 21-month time period. But with this card, you could make regular monthly payments around $150 per month and pay if off without paying any interest.
Or let's say you wanted to transfer a $5,000 balance, currently at 18% interest, to this card. If you paid around $250 per month, you'd pay off the balance in 21 months and save over $1,000 in interest, depending on your interest rate. If this is your situation, what are you waiting for?
Should You Get the Citi Simplicity® Card - No Late Fees Ever?
Whether you're looking to make a major purchase and save some money on interest, or carrying a balance on an existing credit card and need to make your debt more manageable, the Citi Simplicity® Card - No Late Fees Ever offers one of the best intro APR offers available.
