With generous rewards, a lack of fees and interest, and useful expense management tools, the Brex Daily is a corporate credit card with a lot to like. Note that if your business is a sole proprietorship, this isn’t the card for you — Brex has some stringent eligibility requirements. But for C-corps, S-corps, LLCs and LLPs registered in the United States, this card is a strong option for managing your cashflow.
Brex also offers partner perks, which are valuable credits and discounts for useful business services. For example, cardholders can get 25% off 12 months of eligible Slack paid plans, as well as a 20% discount on an annual Zoom subscription. The partner perks you get with your card are worth $150,000 in value, according to the Brex website.
However, the Brex Daily isn’t for everyone. If you don’t want to manage your money with a Brex Cash account (more on that below), or if you don’t like having payments withdrawn from your account each day, a traditional small business credit card might fit your needs better than the Brex Daily .

Apply without a personal guarantee
Most business credit cards require a personal guarantee, meaning that you — the business owner — are personally responsible for all debt incurred. By contrast, Brex issues a corporate credit card that doesn’t require a personal guarantee, and doesn’t carry the risk of hurting your personal credit score.
Rake in the rewards
Cardholders earn generous rewards in a variety of categories: 8x rideshare, 5x brex travel, 4x restaurants, 1.5x ads, 1x everything else. Points can be redeemed for cash back, statement credits, travel, and gift cards. You can also transfer points at a 1:1 value to certain airline loyalty programs.
Brex offers the following airline partners:
Potentially high credit limit
Your credit limit with the Brex Daily is calculated as 80% of your Brex Cash account balance. So, depending on how much you keep in your Brex Cash account, you could get a high credit limit with your Brex Daily .
Lack of an annual fee
Many of the higher-end business credit cards charge an annual fee, which means any rewards the card earns aren’t really net cash back in your wallet until you recoup the fee amount — so we like that the annual fee for the Brex Daily is $0.
Concierge assistance with travel
Brex makes a team of corporate travel agents available to cardholders 24/7 for a variety of needs.
A Brex Cash account is required
Brex Cash is a cash management account, not a bank account. By default, money you deposit into your Brex Cash account is stored at one of the FDIC-insured banks that participates in this program. You also have the option to move some of your money to a money market account, which might allow you to earn interest on your deposits. If you want the Brex Daily , you have to have a Brex Cash account, which might not be ideal for business owners who want a business credit card but don’t want to change where they keep their money.
Payments withdrawn from your account daily
This isn’t a debit card, but in one respect, it’s somewhat like a debit card. Because payments will be withdrawn from your Brex Cash account each day to cover what you charge to the Brex Daily , you need to have the money ready to go before you make a purchase. That could be a challenge if the way your business operates makes paying off your card on a weekly or monthly basis easier to swing.
Certain business types aren't eligible
Brex does not allow businesses without Employer Identification Numbers to apply. Also, your company must be organized and registered in the United States to get this card. Finally, there are certain activities that Brex prohibits or restricts, so you won’t be able to get this card if your business pertains to firearms, gambling, or marijuana, for example.
Those who don’t need a corporate card and just want a small business card that earns generous rewards may like the Chase Ink Business Cash® Credit Card. It charges a $0 annual fee and offers competitive rewards on common business spending categories: Earn 5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at office supply stores and on internet, cable and phone services each account anniversary year. Earn 2% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases at gas stations and restaurants each account anniversary year. Earn 1% cash back on all other card purchases with no limit to the amount you can earn. But beware the foreign transaction fee of 3% of each transaction in U.S. dollars.

If you’re looking for a corporate card that doesn’t require a personal guarantee (and so won’t affect your personal credit), and you like the rewards and money management tools offered by the Brex Daily , you’ll likely find the card a unique and powerful tool. But if you want a card that doesn’t require daily payments, or if you don’t want to have to move your money over to a Brex Cash account, a traditional small business credit card might be a better option.
