    "I was pre-approved for a loan through them. Spoke with the loan agent and he was persistent that I would quality for the pre-approved amount and could go up if needed. I made an offer within the pre-approved amount. Went through the process and provided all the information that was asked. They offered me a rate at 5.25% and I thought it was rather high consider ing my credit score (790). So I went through other creditors and got better offers at 4.975% with lower lender fees. I went back to QL and they were able to match their offers and offer lender credits to offset their higher lender fees. This all occurred within 3 days of starting the loan process. I decided to stay with QL/Rocket Mortgage, which was a mistake. So on day 22, the day the loan contingency was suppose to be released, QL come to me stating that I need a co-signer because my income to debt ratio was way off ($1200 dollars a month). I was shocked on how such a big amount could have been missed by the original loan originator and the loan underwriting team until day 22. I attempted to call back the solution agent I emailed the solution agent and got a call back 24 hours(Monday to Tuesday). I asked if adding a co-signer could change the offer and the solution agent stated that it "yes, it is possible." I saw this as their way to try to get the rate and offer re-written to their advantage being that I would really not have another option this close to closing on the home. My co-signer and I decided not to add an co-signer and have the loan canceled. I later called their customer solutions team (QA) to report their failures and inquire how could the debt to income ratio be off. No compensations were issued for the home inspections done to the home I had personally done based on their initial acceptance offer. Poor loan officers, poor underwriting team, poor solution officer, and poor customer service. Would not recommend Quicken Loans/Rocket mortgage to anyone"... Read More
