    Very Disappointed

We were very disappointed with our experience. FDR did not seem to care about our accounts or us as customers. They allowed several of our accounts to get to legal status without resolution and even wage garnishment and told us the lawyers were paying a monthly fee for could not help us. They settled debts for more than the amount of the original balance instead of reducing our debt which was not what we signed up for. They were very unresponsive, taking multiple days to reply to an email and never answered the phone or returned our messages when we did call in. Overall we were very unhappy with how things ended and would not recommend FDR to anyone, nor would we have gone thru this process had we known it would end this way... Read More

    Very disappointed client

I am so disappointed with this entire experience. I will just describe my most recent experience. I currently have two default judgments against me due to the neglect of both Freedom Debt Relief and their collaborative partners, National Litigation Law Group. They blame each other, but, I am the one left paying court costs and another monthly payment, this time, to a law firm. When I called to inquire, they assured me I would receive a call the next day with some answers, four days later, no call came. I would NOT advise using this "service." I am not working with them for a loan, it is for debt consolidation... Read More

    Don't Do It

Worst decision of my life!!!! If you have more than 1 credit card, don't do it. Each month I'm getting multiple dings on my credit report for late payments. It's so bad I am contemplating bankruptcy. My credit score has gone down over 200 points in 3 months. Again, don't do it!!!

    The Truth

These guys will gladly take your money each month and not help you. Meanwhile your credit is destroyed. They say it will not affect your credit score but it does in a major way. I don't know why they use words such as "freedom" or "relief". My experience has been binding and stressful.

    Sucker Born Every Minute!!

When I called FDR I thought they were going to help change my life like their ad on TV. Yes, they are helping pay down my debt but in the process have destroyed my credit and I've already had to go to court once and had to raise my monthly allowance to cover the costs. They made it sound like they were taking y our debt and paying and then your were paying them a monthly charge. I still get calls from creditors as well as letters and I'm still fearing my next lawsuit or threat of garnishment. I will never do this again!... Read More

    Don't Do It!

My credit stinks -they said it would go down, but bounce back and it hasn't. Also, the website is not good. At least provide me an end date on the program and a graph to show me where I'm at in the process. If I had known that they only pay one debt off at a time, I could have put my bills in a pile and done that myself. Overall, not happy with this company. They made negotiations with one company who sued me because of nonpayment and once the case was settled haven't bothered to send the payments and then wanted to say the legal company they use didn't provide information to tell them when or how much to pay the credit card folks, which was obviously not true, they called me because they needed me to ok debiting out my checking account an extra $20 on the next draft to cover the first payment to the credit card people. NEVER go this route if you can avoid it. Hindsight is 20/20 and I wouldn't go this route knowing what I know now... Read More

    Beware of this program

I was lied to about everything with the program by the person who signed me up for freedom. Because of this program and them lying about the time frame to negotiate with creditors all of my bills went so far past due they had to be charged off and only after then did I find out that is the normal process for Freedom so they can more easily make settlements.. as well they say that they will save you money per month off of your minimum payments which is a lie because of their strategy for settlements I'm actually paying more per month then the minimum payments would have been and because of a greed judgments I am locked into that payment until the program is completed. In my personal opinion it would have been easier and more beneficial just to file bankruptcy in the beginning... Read More

    Descepective

They have done nothing to help me. They routine my credit and when my larger debt was almost paid in full they did not pay the last 2 payments. Now I'm waiting for them to renotigate with the same lender. Both my husband and my pay check were garnished for 300.00 a week each. The person who answers the phone insists they did nothing wrong I settled most all debts myself now. My credit ius tanked. And I owe them money. They are a joke. By the way I had to call the attorneys and get everything fixed they did nothing to help me... Read More

    Overcharged

I am very disappointed with the manner in which Freedom Debt Relief misguided me with reducing my debt. I was told they would negotiate on my behalf to reach a settlement with my lenders. I reached an agreement with one of my lenders, and Freedom Debt Relief is charging me for the agreement. I would not recommend this program to any one. Raymond D.
