    Keith Goeringer is Outstanding

    Yes, I recommend this lender

I have never been impressed more than I was with Keith. He has a huge amount of knowledge about the industry, was very responsive, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. He overcame every obstacle during the process to ensure that I would close on my first home. Couldn't ask for better, and would recommend to anyone! I will be using Keith again in the future!

Made buying a home a pleasurable experience

    Yes, I recommend this lender

We worked with Shaun and Amber. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and were very responsive to our needs. Shaun even emailed me back at 9pm at night to answer a question and apologize for being out of town on business. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a home loan.

    Stay Away!!!!

The first issue I had with this company was a claim I had started with my insurance company to replace my roof after a severe storm. My insurance company allotted me money to replace my roof, gutters, garage door, windows and front door. I sent the check to Primary mortgage so then can endorse then return the check so I could cash it and replace the damage from the storm. They kept my check and would only release funds once I sent them invoices. I can understand that they are vested in my roof, but have no right to hold funds for the rest. This is simply not there money. I pay homeowners insurance monthly plus I had to pay the deductible. The second issue was just recently. I had paid my mortgage online and receive a "payment received" confirmation. 10 ten days later I get a phone call stating that I will be accessed a late fee, and a fee for bounce check. I explained to them about my confirmation. There reply was that an incorrect acct # was entered during payment. I thought that was strange since I received a "payment received" confirmation. So I then asked how l could I have bounced the check if you didn't even have the correct acct#. There reply was " this is a charge from your bank" for us trying to run your account #. This doesn't make any sense. Worst of all they are not budging on any of the fees at the moment and even are charging me $15 to make my payment over the phone. The scary thing is I'm only 2-1/2 yrs into my 30 yr loan.

    Keith Goeringer was AMAZING!!!!

    Yes, I recommend this lender

Within 2 minutes (literally) of completing my application on Lending Tree, Keith Goeringer texted me. From the very beginning, he was honest, thorough and patient. He's very knowledgable with numbers - an area that is not my strong suit. He explained everything in a way that I could understand. I felt like he genuinely wanted the best for me in the purchase of my house. I never felt pressured or belittled. I truly don't think I would have received the same attention and concern from another lender. I would 100% recommend him to anyone who needs help in buying a home.

Keith Goeringer Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc.

    Yes, I recommend this lender

Excellent service from start to finish. First time buyer here and I never once had a problem getting ahold of the lender, receiving a clear and concise answer, and in a very professional manner. With that being said, I didn't have to ask many questions. Everything was explained in great detail throughout each step in the process. From written emails, phone calls, and even personalized youtube videos to show me exactly what and how I needed to do something. I would recommend this lender to anyone searching for a new home. 5 stars all the way down.

These people will leave you homeless and if you get a pre-approval letter from them do NOT trust it!!! IT is worthless! They just denied my loan at the very last minute after forcing me to sell my home before I had final loan approval, claiming the money had to be in my account at least 2 weeks ahead of closing but I would not get approval until the day before closing. Then after all this is done, they pop up at the last minute and tell me that I am denied over something they already KNEW ABOUT!!! Now I have been left homeless and I have them to thank for this. Buyer BEWARE.

Great Until You Actually Have the Loan

First time home buyer, I worked with the Towson branch. Stephen was great, very helpful, answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. No complaints at all from working with him; he was awesome. Once I had the mortgage though, the company has been awful. Last month they called and emailed me multiple times during the same shift while I was at work to inform me that my mortgage payment was late - which was odd, given that I had bank records proving the check was cashed days earlier. The customer service rep informed me that "they couldn't read the loan number on the check" (Which I don't believe, my handwriting is fine). But they just cash it anyway and keep it without applying it to any account at all? I asked why they did not look up the name and address on the check - both of which are attached to this mortgage - he claimed that's too much extra work, they won't do that. The issue was fixed over the phone and supposedly resolved. Then the next month's statement arrived and I was charged a late fee even though they received the previous payment well before the late payment date. I had to argue to get that removed. At this point, it was heavily recommended that I use the new online banking tool to avoid paper check issues. So I signed up at the end of May - if you sign up for a one time payment there is a $12 convenience fee or no fee for automatic enrollment. So I signed up automatic for the first of the month. June 1st came and went, the payment was not withdrawn. I used the contact form on the loan page; so far three requests, no response. So I called customer service, they claimed everything was set up right - so why no withdrawal? They couldn't provide an answer other than to go online, pay my June mortgage late, and have to take a hit for the $12 fee even though it clearly shows I'm signed up right for the no fee method. I gave up fighting because I don't want to risk the late fee too. Now I'm just waiting to see if I have to put up with this again in July...wish me luck. Avoid this company, it should not be a headache to pay them money.

    Almost Lost Our House

Our experience with PRMI (specifically the Flower Mound and Grapevine branches) were absolutely unacceptable. Initially we found them to be a little hard to contact. Our agent never answered her phone. We constantly had to leave messages and have her call us back. Emails may or may not receive a response. We unfortunately happened to be closing the day after we returned from an international trip. We informed them far in advance that we would be accessible only through limited internet access, not by phone at all, for one week before closing date. When we left, they had still not given us an adequate status update, even though we had turned in all the paperwork. When we returned, one day before closing date, we got several phone messages. One asked us to fax in a document that we'd already signed, another asked for my manager's number to verify employment (which I'd given them 3 weeks before), and another was our seller telling us that the title company would not be able to close on time since they hadn't received documents and the seller wanted to go with a different buyer. Our loan officer had to make phone calls to push the process so that we could close on time. And we still did not know until our actual closing day if we were going to be getting our house. When we went to the title company to sign the papers, the contracts had only just been emailed to them. I will never use this company again.

    Stay Away

2 Hours before closing we found out our loan was not approved after being told for 2 months that we were not only pre-approved, but there wouldn't be an issue. They were slow and unresponsive, didn't communicate with the underwriter and within their group. Can't tell you how many times we were asked for the same paperwork over and over. Treated pre-existing property as a liability rather than an asset. Took forever to get responses from simple questions. Because of their delays we paid for a $475 Assessment and lost our Earnest money..Total Wasted: 2 months of my life and $2250. After consulting with 2 different mortgage brokers, we shouldn't have gotten pre-approved. (which is fair, I'd rather be told that, than waste my time,, money and emotions). We worked with the Dallas Office. Don't waste your time, they are amateurs.
