    Worst Lender EVER!!!

Been working with Wells for 5 mths and they still haven't gotten to a pre approval.. They ask for one thing and wait weeks to request something else.. Here I am 5 mth later and I got an emails saying to resubmit all current things since they are outdated.. They are outdated because its their fault! I sold real estate for years and have never experienced anything like this.

I would give them a zero if I could. I've been banking with WF for closed to 20 years and currently have a loan with them so I decided to go with WF thinking that the process would be easy. It has been over 3 months since I locked in my rate and started the process and still not finished. I've been asked for the same document in some cases 3 times. Obviously since they are slow, submitted docs get outdated. They keep on asking for updates. Why do they need an update on a flood certification? My house is not getting up and moving itself all of a sudden to a flood zone... Extremely incompetent, disorganized and no sense of urgency. I will NEVER refinance with them again.

    Consistant: Poor

Ditto on the last review from Allen. Enraged at continuous nit-picking and delays. Cancelled my request after weeks..Waste of time.

    refinance nightmare

There isn't a category low enough for the terrible customer service we've experienced with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. We selected Wells Fargo for a refinance because they held our existing mortgage and we thought the process would be easier, it's been anything but easy! We started the process in April and finally gave up and cancelled the day closing was scheduled... JULY 22!!! We have great credit and no other debt but we've been treated like delinquents with no existing credit or track record We provided every document required by May 4th and yet in July they were still asking for updates. Every time we talked to someone there was some excuse or problems with this or that and "I passed it on so it's not my problem" attitude. Wells Fargo is the ultimate example of a giant company that treats customers like numbers with no personal service and less than competent staff. We've wasted time and money with nothing to show for it but grief.

I cannot give less than one star so I gave one star The loan specialist used to speak well before my loan process started. He became rude after I gave offer and I got into actual numbers. The numbers they gave for pre approval and after I gave the final offer everything changed. He started saying that he has other clients so he was busy and did not finish my closing in 45 days. I need to ask for an extension and pay extra for it.

    Poor customer service

My former mortgage was with Wells Fargo so I thought they would be an appropriate choice. I was told that the way loans get sold that regardless of whether I chose them or not, I would end up with them someday anyway.

    Don't waste your time

I applied for a line of credit for home improvement and was denied because I have too much available credit on credit cards. I DON'T use credit cards, owe 20% on my mortgage. I have $800,000.00 in paid assets, but because of "Available Credit" I was turned down. Never will I do any business with Wells Fargo.

Very uncaring people. Will not work with you when you need assistance. Very cold. They used to be wonderful in the 80s. We used them and recommended them for years until they changed.
