Lack of response and not worth the work

    (1) (0)
Horrible customer service and response time. No urgency in helping customer out, even if you are a current customer in good standings. They care 0% about their customer's situation. You will end up doing a lot of the work and upload all these docs based on their lack of direction just to be told several times after they need it a different way or sent again for some reason. It seems as if these Mortgage Consultants and Processors do not communicate properly and seem very inexperience. You are suppose to make the process painless for the customer and be responsive to their questions. That unfortunately is not what I received. I've decided this is not worth my time and do not want to do business with a company who has no loyalty or care for customers. Disappointing... Read More

They called to discuss getting me set up and then intentionally hung up on me in the middle of me explaining my situation. I will never recommend them to anyone!

Stay Away from Wells Fargo Mortgage

I am a real estate agent and have had two deals with them over the past year. In one, they lost my buyer's income tax return and had to order another one. This delayed our closing by 7 days. This week has been 20 days since the appraisal was ordered on another home and we still have not seen the appraisal. Most lenders can close a conventional loan in close to 20 days, much less wait on an appraisal... Read More

The experience with Wells was decent as they definitely wanted to help me get a loan. However I decided to move forward with another Lender. I will consider Wells Fargo in the future though!

    Conservative, expensive, zero loyalty

Wells Fargo had rates that were too high. But worse, in the evaluation they looked at things that other vendors ignored. For example, I co-signed on a car loan for my son (who has a perfect payment record BTW). They insisted on including that plus other similar things as prospective debts. Being debt free for all practical purposes, I found this annoying, and naturally it changed the equation of the deal, adversely affecting rates - if I had proceeded with the loan. Engaged with multiple other vendors who did not have the same practices. Easily closed, with great customer service, at a better rate, with a different vendor. Oh - it's worth mentioning... this was a refi. My mortgage at the time was with WF, and had been for years, with a perfect payment record. I guess that does not count for much with WF... Read More
