You can have up to 10 properties financed. There is no limit if for a primary home loan.

What is a 5/1 arm or 10/1 arm loan?

If you can afford the 15yr payment and your goal is to pay off the house quickly. Then you should. Also you should look at a 10yr mortgage. If your income is commissions then you might want to stay at 30yr and make principle reductions with each monthly payment. This way if you need to pay a lower payment for a month or 2 then you have that option.
