If you can document a loss of job (for instance) is what directly led to the foreclosure of the property then you are likely eligible for FHA's "Back to Work loan". The documentation showing a direct link from loss of income to foreclosure is the crucial part and documentation of all elements of the events must be presented. You can read more about it below. If you are an eligible veteran then you may be able to get a VA loan after 2 years (7/2016). Minimum Credit score needed for specify mortgage loans??

Sapphire The credit score requirement varies from lender to lender and by loan type. 500 is the traditional minimum for a FHA loan. VA has no score minimum. USDA and Conventional/Conforming loans are at 620 minimum. Our company, Envoy Mortgage, currently goes down to 580 on VA and FHA loans and 620 on USDA and Conventional/Conforming loans. Josh

    Josh Price and his team assisted us with a home purchase when we relocated back to Louisville. After finding the house we wanted, we had limited time to get the financing completed so my family didn't have to stay in a hotel. Josh was able to get our loan approved in about 3 weeks and kept up informed the entire time. Great experience!

    This was my first home purchase. I knew nothing about the loan process. My preconceived notion was that the process was going to be long and complicated.
