    Poor Communication skills

    They will not give you a straight answer for nothing. They are not good at listening to the facts it's all about what they think.

    Daily updates

    Yes, I recommend this lender

    We had a very good experience with Quicken they were very thorough they were keeping us updated daily and they were very conscious of our needs a little slow on the closing time but overall very good service.

    Dinged my credit

    Reviewed my credit report after the loan closed and had 7 inquiries from Quicken. Some were legit but others were duplicates that reported as unique. I asked Quicken to correct with the credit reporting agencies and they refused. Annoyed and definitely not amazed.

    Refinancing of my home

    Yes, I recommend this lender

    Quicken Loans' motto of "Engineered to Amaze" is totally appropriate. I was so amazed with the unbelievable amount of communication and their willingness to do an excellent job from start to finish. High levels of professionalism with a focus on customer service. An attorney came to my house to complete my closing!!!!

    Way Fast

    Yes, I recommend this lender

    I was just inquiring about a loan and man what happened. I got a phone call and that was it, Within 30 days I was getting the closing finalized. It went so fast I almost did not realize myself what was happening. The personnel was incredible and the services were impeccable. I would highly state that if I had to do this again there would be no other group or company to deal with.

    Terrible customer service

    I am in the process of buying another residence. I have excellent credit, a stable job, income from my job and income from rental houses and very little debt. All my income is reflected in my tax return. I can have the luxury of comparing lenders and select the one that I think is the best for me. Today I was looking in the Quicken web site and I was offered the chance to chat with a representative to answer any questions that I might have. I was connected to Adam Miller. It looked that he was more interested in getting my personal information rather than to help me giving me answers that actually was the reason in the first place for me to accept the chat. I understand that I need to provide basic information like income, amount of monthly payments that I have and time in my current job. I provided him with the information and also I told him that my credit score is above 780. It is common and actually it is recommended to know for how much you are qualified before looking for a house because that helps during the process of making an offer. After knowing how much you can get it can take approximately 2 or 3 months to find a house, make an offer, do the inspections and close the deal. I told him that I did not wanted for him to pull my credit report at this moment. He was upset when I refused to give him all my personal information (full name, address, social security number and date of birth) and ended the chat after telling me to call him in 2 or 3 months when I am ready to buy. Very disappointing experience, very rude employee and a very strong reason for me to look for another lender and not recommend Quicken loans.

    Costly

    Have had 6 mortgages in the past, this was by far the most expensive. They nickel and dime you to death. I paid off a mortgage and they have a $25.00 payoff statement fee and an $8.00 recording fee. I am in the military and buy a house every 3-4 years (I hate renting), I will never use these guys again.

    Unsure

    I try with Quicken in 2013 and no deal like days before the closing. Try again early 2014 and was told do this and that. Tried again Dec 2014 and was told both their answers are correct but does not help me. They seem to try hard not to work with me.

    Great Experience

    Great experience

    Refinancing through Quicken Loans was very easy. Home owner was kept entirely on top of things every step through the process. Closing was fast, easy and very convenient. Would recommend Quicken to any and all would need a mortgage or would like to refinance.
