POWERFUL
Put the power of our trained loan consultants to work for you and have our lenders compete for your auto loan. Auto Approve’s lender network consists of banks, finance companies and credit unions across the country, and our relationships with them allow you preferred access for your auto loan. It’s the power you need to get the best refinance loan for your needs.
The process took almost a month to complete after inquiring daily on the update. After you sign paperwork all customer help ceases. No questions being answered or anything. The good thing is that they did get us a lower apr & monthly payment. I feel like customer service should be a little better. After asking was it legit (since we received an letter in the mail and went from there) I was told “ Do you want to stay in the loan your currently in or do you want our help?) That seemed rude and not really reassuring me that they was legit beside the fact they said “go search us on the internet “ This was our first time refinancing so we was completely lost and the representative didn’t tell us the process or how it went. We seen an additional $2000 finance charge added so they lowered our monthly cost compared to our previous lien holder but now we owe the new lien holder even more over time, I wondered how they get their money in all this (being the middle man) and why are they helping us.
Auto Approve appreciates all feedback and we thank you for letting us know about your experience. Auto Approve is known for the quality of our customer service so we are sorry if your experience did not meet the high standards we have set for ourselves. We strive to make the process as streamlined as possible but there are sometimes unforeseen delays. When your Loan Consultant referred you to our website, it was not done to be rude but rather to allow you the chance to confirm who we are, read more about the refinance process (there are sections with information regarding the process, answers to frequently asked questions, etc.). Once you move forward with refinancing your vehicle, the cost of refinancing your auto loan includes admin/doc fees, title transfer fees, state fees (if applicable), and the cost of any extra products (e.g., GAP, warranty) you choose to add. All of these items and the costs associated with them are listed and disclosed on the contract you reviewed and signed. The ‘additional finance charge’ you referenced is not an ‘additional charge’ but is actually the total interest that will be paid over the life of the loan if you make all of your scheduled contract payments. This amount is less than you would have paid over the life of the loan at your old interest rate. A member of our team will be reaching out directly to discuss any additional questions or concerns. Thank you so much, we sincerely value you as a customer!

Simple & quick
Way better interest rate then before. Decreased my monthly payment by $50 and saved $3k in finance charges. Wish I would have some numbers explained more clearly as my loan total did go up by $2000 in “daily interest for having the loan” not exactly thrilled with that but too late now.

Alright
The entire process was very easy aside from the fact that I had to go out and mail documents in person at ups. My loan consultant informed me that there would be no costs with mailing the documents, but there was. Loan consultant also never followed up with answering any questions I had after the loan was finalized.. aside from that, they got the job done.

Transparency issues; $399 fee
This was my first auto-refinance loan, so take my review with a grain of salt. In my experience, I felt that Auto Approve could have done a better job in being transparent (fees, timeline of the process, what to expect, etc.) to prevent me from being surprised in the process. I appreciated having a personal agent I could call or text, though he sometimes dodged or totally forgot to respond to my questions. And in the end I was approved with a good loan, hence 3 stars — some good, some bad, but on the whole closer to good than terrible. I was originally pre-approved for 3.4% APR (or whereabouts) for 75 months. I understand that these offers are subject to credit scores, and they assume the best score tier. When I authorized Auto Approve to do a soft pull, the credit union then did a HARD pull my credit, which showed 794 — top tier credit according to my Auto Approve agent (also didn’t appreciate the surprise of the hard pull, although I always knew it was going to happen). Instead, I was approved 3.7% APR for 69 months. Not too much of a difference, but this was not what I initially thought I was getting myself into, despite the fact that I have top credit. By this time, it was too late to go with another credit union, unless I wanted to have another hard pull. Great, now I have a loan. Shortly thereafter, I got the loan document processor and started signing the contract. Then I noticed a $399 “document fee.” Although I understand that the company has to make money, the fee was another surprise — transparency would have been appreciated. I naively thought they Auto Approve made their money as a commission from the credit union by directing customers their way and then charged the customer nothing. After the document was submitted, it took 4 business days for the loan to clear to send to the current loan financier. I repeatedly told my agent that it was a time sensitive matter and needed to be sent out ASAP, but it doesn’t seem they were able to accommodate my request. I actually called the credit union and they said they approved the funds the same day, but the delay was on Auto Approve. Auto Approve said the opposite. I’m not sure who to believe, and I understand I made a special request for quick financing, but I don’t feel like Auto Approve/my agent actually did anything to at least try to make it speed up. My agent said he couldn’t call the credit union and that he’d try to get his supervisor to call and he’d let me know what happened by the end of the day. I haven’t heard from him since then now 3 days later, since Auto Approve sent the loan documents to me the next day.

There are better options.
Very responsive while trying to get you to refinance through them, but once funded all communication stops. Every person that emailed me at the beginning ignores emails and phone calls now when I had questions about gift card offer. and where my title is 6 months later.
We are grateful for the opportunity to respond to your comments. Upon completion of your refinance, you were sent an email letting you know that you could receive a $20 gift card if you posted a review to two sites, LendingTree and BBB. Only one review was posted (BBB) which is why the gift card was not initially sent. Since a review has now been posted on LendingTree, the gift card has been mailed. Our records do not reflect any calls or emails regarding this misunderstanding but I apologize on behalf of Auto Approve if you were not able to get a quick resolution to your questions. With regard to the title, it was issued on 1/3/19. There were some initial delays (registration was filed at the same the title application was being processed which, per the state DMV, slowed down the process. Also, the state apparently sent the title directly to the new Lender. We are confident that the Lender will be happy to work with you should you wish to receive the original title (per guidelines in your state). We are sorry about the misunderstandings and encourage you to contact our VP of Compliance with any questions. Thank you

Was not up front about the fees. And stated they would send a 50 dollar gift card to make up for some of that. Then later stated I would have to do the survey. Though I wanted to wait on the survey to make sure they would send it.
