After I went through the initial stages of soliciting a loan on Lending Tree, boa*******.com offered an interest rate of 5.24% on a used motorhome. So I opted to go with them over multiple other lenders. I filled out the loan application, they ran my credit and I had an approval in about 2 hours. Normally, I'd be happy with that. However, they came back saying that the RV was one year too old to get the lower interest rate and that my loan would have an interest rate of 11.99%. I have excellent credit and make more than ample income. The thing that irritates me the most is that that they ran my credit. They knew exactly what year model and make that the RV was and then duped me into applying for a loan with an interest rate that they couldn't honor; i.e. "bait and switch". I was able to find two other lenders that came through at under 6%.

Customer Service is horrible
Started an application filled out everything they wanted, never heard back. Tried to call the number given and it just kept going to voicemail. I do not recommend using this company at all, its not worth it.

Horrible Experience
The process was herendous. Please make sure you do your research before choosing this company. They have some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They don't follow through and have poor communication. At times it seems as if they have no idea what they are even doing. Read reviews and check out any complaints against the company. Save yourself a whole lot of headaches and go with someone more reliable.

Excruciatingly Tedious!!
Excruciatingly tedious!!! If I could give a lower score I would. We have gotten many loans (mortgage, mortgage refi, car loan, etc) and NOTHING was more difficult than the process for this loan. IFG makes it difficult every step of the way, to the point where it was like having another full time job. My loan officer was very helpful initially. As the process wore on, he grew much less helpful. There were several occasions where I had to track down information and forms for him from my state DMV. He was also very unclear about the timeline, when things would be complete, or even when I could go pick up the RV from the seller. At this time, it has been over a month since the process first started, and I still cannot legally drive the RV. The title work has still yet to go through. It has been a never ending waiting game. The most laughable part is that they sent us a bill for our first payment to be due**.BEFORE WE CAN ACTUALLY DRIVE IT!! This is 2020. In many cases you can have loans taken care of with a few clicks online. Or, you can go sit in a dealership, and drive off of the lot the same day. I fail to see why IFG has made their systems so archaic, and customer service so lacking. It takes over a month to finalize loan financing and title work. It has been a long time since I have had such poor experience from a company.

Boat Loan
BEWARE!! I used this company for a boat loan. It has been the worst experience ever! I would not use them for any reason. They lost the titles to the boat and it’s been 2 months without any resolution! The loan is already done, I’m being sent payments and I ha e not been reimbursed for the loan amount. At this point I’ve had to hire an attorney to handle collecting my funds that the bank sent the broker and they are with holding or have decided to keep. Thefts! Liars and unprofessional. You’ve been warned!

Bait and switch
I have a close to perfect credit score and the initial quote I got online was much different than what the agent ended up giving me. I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism in their tactics. Online I was quoted 10% down and 4.7% rate, the agent quoted me 17% down and a 5.9% rate. Go directly to your bank!

Terrible
Not only did it takes almost a week to get any responses after talking to her. Was pre approved for the loan told them all the info on the boat and what it was. They said there is no problem theyll be able to do the loan. They did not run NADA value on boat at all before pulling a hard inquiry on my credit. Pulled credit atleast twice that I know of then would not even lend value of the NADA of boat. I have good credit that is not the problem. The problem is that they don’t do any of their own research on what their lenders will actually lend. Something she could have told me 6 days ago instead of not responding to call and emails and not doing research that is needed on their end. I do not recommend this company.

Horrid Customer Sevice- Debbie Betts
We worked with Debbie Betts to try and obtain a boat loan. Unfortunately we were denied. After being denied we tried to contact Debbie for an explanation and see what next steps we could take. She did not respond to our emails. We repeatedly asked for a copy of the credit report pulled and when we finally reached her on the phone, she hung up on us. Would not recommend working with Debbie Betts.
