Great way to buy a car

After spending 4 hours at a dealership and being ignored and not being able to buy a car, I decided to do it through Carvana. Everything was amazing, hassle free, easy, nicely coordinated. I couldn’t believe how they made such a painful process become so easy. They even deliver the license plates - meaning no DMV! One thing they should improve on is technology. The app is not great - and the website could see some improvements in terms of navigating, speed, agility and less errors. But that is nothing compared to the overall experience.

A learning experience

After seeing many videos and great reviews of Carvana, I decided to bite the bullet and make my first online car purchase. At first, finding the right car for me and reserving was a breeze. I signed my contract on a Sunday and scheduled delivery for the following Saturday.
Come Friday afternoon, I received a phone call stating there was a glitch in the system and my vehicle was not going to be delivered on Saturday due to the logistics of the car. It was still in Ohio. After speaking to a number of people, I was told multiple answers of the earliest date I could see the car; one person said I could see the car the following Monday, someone said Tuesday, someone said 2 weeks later. It was very hard to get a definite answer. I then went onto the website to check the status of my purchase and noticed that I had to sign the contract again, even though I have already signed everything the past week. The last person I spoke with told me the car was going to be washed and vacuumed, and they would follow up the day before my delivery. I did not receive any phone calls the day prior and the vehicle came filthy. Due to current times, I immediately sanitized everything after delivery.
Although this experience was not ideal, the concept of Carvana is revolutionary.

A few bumps in the road but they were smoothed out

It was a super easy process and they have a great selection of cars to choose from. Had a little issue with the delivery but the customer service was spectacular and made sure to keep me updated with any news they heard. I appreciate the friendly and prompt service they had shown me
