I had to keep jumping through hoops over and over. The representative was always away from the phone. And my payoff was at $28,000 a little more. But had to finance more that $30,634.00 to refinance. NOTHING was explained to me and have not received any forms showing any information about the payoff or the cost of the refinance. I am not happy with this process. Where did the more than the $2,300.00 go? And why was the payoff not equal to the refinance??????

My agent did not honor my request
Adam Kravets was my agent and when he asked me what I was looking in my new loan, I told him that I wanted to lower my rate $100 dollars monthly. After securing a rate of $94 off a month, Adam started to add ( WITHOUT MY PERMISSION) perks which brought my monthly savings down from $94 to $38. Adam who refinances an auto loan to only save $38/month?? I told him I did not want any add-ons and he dropped some of them but not all of them. I don't understand why he would not honor my request. Ilending was a good experience but Adam Kravets ruined it for me.

Terrible
Thank God I got a lower rate for my car loan and monthly payment, but my overall customer service experience with them was horrible. They couldn’t give me the right information, communication was terrible. I sent in the same form 3 times because they gave me the wrong information. The time frame in which the process took was entirely too long and I had to make another unnecessary payment to my last lender in the interim. In their defense the loan officer was polite but the whole experience was a pain and I was quite frustrated for about a month and so stressed I almost went to another company. In the end, thank God I finally got a lower monthly car payment, because I can’t thank Ilending. After all, it’s the new loan who gave me the lower rate.

Not what I expected.
I was told I needed $2600 down payment on my refinance of my $30,500 Auto loan. I didn't even need a down payment when I bought the truck 6 months earlier. But i figured at least the $2600 would lower mt loan to $25,900. Nope the $2600 went to fees and i still ended up refinancing MORE then i originally owed. The loan was $31,600. Very disappointing then they wouldn't tell me the name of the bank who did the refinance until after the deal was done. It ended up being Hughes Federal credit union and after looking at the reviews they are a 2 star customers have horrible complaints about this bank.

I got what I needed, but the experience was frustrating and misleading. Never again.
The good news, is that I received a phone call from Jim as literally as soon as I completed my initial inquiry online. Within about a day, Jim M. gave me a great quote for my new monthly payment, and my new interest rate-which I am very happy with. What happened next is where it all went wrong: First, after reviewing the forms that needed to be submitted in detail, I sent them off to him-only to find out that he forgot to tell me about one section that needed to be completed. The second time was the trick-but a huge waste of time. He also failed to disclose that 1) there would be a processing fee tacked on to the loan balance, and 2) the credit union where the loan was obtained from requires a bank (savings) account to be opened in my name so that I can first transfer funds to the credit union, and then make payments to my loan from that savings account. When I voiced my concern to him after I learned these details, and after I expressed frustration about the fact that he did NOT review these details with me, all he said in reply was "I'm sorry that you feel that way." A passive-aggressive reply is NOT the way to reply to a person that you withheld information from. Even though he did review the paper applications with me (granted, it was done 2 times because of his error the first time around), so one would think that as he's reviewing that paperwork that he should have given me ACCURATE EXPECTATIONS, and DISCLOSE ALL OF THE DETAILS ABOUT THE PROCESS, such as-"Hey! Just so you know, this arrangement requires that you open a bank account at the credit union. You will need to transfer money to that bank account so that you can make your loan payments, is that OK?" and "The new loan value will be $xxx*.xx, which includes a $x**.xx document fee for our services." I shouldn't have to feel like I need to micro-manage the representative who was hired to serve ME so that I can find out all of the information that I need to know. Like I said at the beginning, I'm happy with the rate and new monthly payment amount. Because of my experience, I will NEVER use iLending DIRECT again should I ever need to refinance an auto loan. Despicable.

Pretty Bad
If you have a working visa don't even think about it, even though you have excellent credit score that doesn't matter.

Frustrating to Follow Up with your Loan Consultant
At first, your loan consultant was impressive, convincing me that I was in good hands and that I was getting the best deal. Now that I have agreed to re-finance my car with your company, he asks me for 1 document after another every time I follow up on the status of my loan application. He verbally assures me not to pay my current bank the bill and this has happened before only to end up having to pay the interest. Please get back to me and I will be happy to share the name and details of our Loan Consultant. I am getting nervous now that I have sent all my official documents to him. Frustrated Customer

Felt like I was wasting my time.
When I first submitted my request, I got there rate and contacted them. The person I worked with was nice and easy to talk to. He told me he was sending my info to the first bank so I was like cool. I unlocked my credit and then was told they couldn't access my credit report. So I unlocked it again and he sent the request. He didn't get back to me for like 3 days. To find out again they couldn't access my credit and I was getting frustrated because every time I have to unlock it cost money to do it. To end my review I would rather not do business with a lender who can't figure out how to pull my credit. I want to trust that they are competent and I can trust them. I was excited but now just disappointing.
Thank you for your time and comments regarding your experience with our organization. Please accept our sincerest apologizes for the heartburn you experienced when attempting to refinance your vehicle. We experienced some back and forth when trying to access your credit file to complete the application process. We can appreciate the sensitivity when it comes to opening your credit file for review and thank you for unlocking the file for us. Once we were able to review your file we sent it back to the credit union with a comment that unfortunately was never followed up on. We sent a follow up note to the underwriter stating that your file was unlocked for their review, however the comment was never acted upon or follow up on until I conducted an investigating of your file. We are extremely sorry that your application was not completed and we would like the opportunity to earn your business back if you are still interest in refinance your vehicle. If you are please contact our Customer Advocacy Director and she will connect you with one of our Sr. Loan consultants for assistance. Thank you for your comments and we appreciate you reaching out, best regards.

Rude pushy and obnoxious. I wouldn't use them even if their rate was lower, which it was not.

Okay Experience, But Went Elsewhere
Fleet was one of the first calls I received after I completed my search via Lending Tree. I spoke to a gentlemen named Mike Thornton. While Mike was professional and helpful, the terms that he provided were not the best. They offered me a 5.99% rate, but were requiring lots of work on my end to make this happen. Proof of income, copies of my W-2s, etc, not to mention between $300-$500 down. They also charge a loan docs fee of $495, which they "build into" the monthly rate. The company I ended up choosing came back with a 3.99% rate with no money down and no other fees whatsoever. They also did not try to push an Extended Warranty, which I already have and do not need. Ultimately, it just wasn't going to work out with Fleet. My advice to anyone would be not to take the first offer that comes your way. The company I went with was the last one to call me, after they had run a thorough credit check, done their homework, and could guarantee me a great rate. Those are the types of companies I want to do business with!
