A learning experience
They were pretty on top of finding me a refinance load. I think they would have exolained some things better, especially knowing how little i knew of the process. My interest rate was lowered but my loan got larger, by almost $2k. I get that its my mistake for not reading the fine print, or assuming i would be informed before i signed , but here we are. Also, when i emailed questions just so i didnt repeat my mistakes in the future, apparently im no longer important now that they got their sale. Live and learb i guess

It was a decent experience
My Loan consultant got my refinance finished but it was not easy to complete. My consultant I felt put off my case and wouldn’t respond to me multiple days in a row, even after I texted them. They were decently understanding just felt like she didn’t care to get the job finished, but on her own time. I would look into using Lendingdirect again but with a different Agent.

Eh..Average
Starting tbe process was great and they were very attentive. During the process though had some communication breakdowns and they didn't answer my questions or get back to me quickly. After wrapping everything up they called and asked for a review and asked if I got my payoff letter yet... I hadn't (still haven't received it) and they were like thanks for the review, but did nothing for the payoff letter. Why ask and do nothing? Not impressed or overall upset, but will probably use someone else next time.

Overall it was a good experience
My beginning and mid part of the process went well. At the end of it I didn’t receive my closing call or any information when my refinance was final. I still haven’t received any information by any means about my refinance.

The only problem I had is the company you hooked me up with had an exhorbatant rate and my credit score is 680! Can’t you screen companies or banks based on credit?

beware of extras
this company was good at getting our refinance but we told them we didnt want gap or extra warranty on our new vehicle. they did it anyway. we are trying to cancel cause in our contract it states we can cancel at anytime. we are now getting the run around and we feel like we are being forced to keep it

Easy to work with, but too pushy
I went through iLendingDirect to refinance my car loan. The process was easy and they helped me find a lower rate, but in the end, I decided not to go with them for one reason. They were way too pushy in trying to get me to add GAP insurance and an extended warranty to my auto loan, which would have added about $4000 to my existing loan. Here's how they operate. They'll find a lender with a somewhat lower interest rate, but the loan length will be a 7 year loan, so of course the monthly payments will be less. Then when they tell you how much lower the monthly payment will be, they try pushing on the GAP and warranty. I would have used them, but in the end, they were just too pushy and wouldn't let it go, so I just stop returning their calls and emails. It became frustrating to deal with them. I finally found a local place with a decent interest rate, and they weren't pushy at all in selling GAP and a warranty. I said no, and they just said ok. That was that.

I was contacted right away after filling out the form on lending tree. My income as a registered nurse, as well as my good credit score should not have been any issue on refinancing. I was quoted 7.49%, although it is lower than my current rate this is not something I would accept especially with current rates around 3-4% for people with similar profiles to me. Great customer service, at least for the several minutes I was talking, but not so great rate.
