False "pre approved" loan

They Gave me a great pre approved rate. Then declined my app. They said it was because I don't make or have enough money. That's the point of a loan. I have a great credit score and a full time job with a decent salary.

Seemed too good to be true

By far the easiest loan process I've ever experienced. I've got good credit in the 750-780 range. I was able to get a 1.99% unsecured auto loan for 215**. Within a day they approved my application and set out the terms of the loan. Signed papers the following day(today) and I'm expecting disbursement tomorrow. The 1.99% was by far the best rate I've seen anywhere. I'm extremely satisfied. I've heard many do not qualify and are rejected, but considering quickness, ease, and rates, it is WELL worth your time to apply.

Great experience

It took less than 24 hours from applying for a loan to having the funds in my account. I was looking for a low interest car loan ($32K) and was approved in less than an hour with amazing interest rate for an unsecured loan. There were no closing costs, no hidden fees - easiest car loan experience I've ever had! Highly recommended!

zero customer service. ZERO.

I got a loan elsewhere. Unsecured. Their website had no customer service number I could call with questions. This was the second time I have tried to use Lightstream and was turned down. I Make over 100k a year, Have over 80k of liquid assets among other mutual funds, IRA's, and stocks. At the time I applied I had a credit rating between 775-825. All I wanted was a 30k Loan for an automobile. Their Loss.

Waste of time

They are a waste of time requested loan of 31k debt to income ratio at 27% credit score 772 and annual salary of 125k a year. They declined my loan this company is a waste of time and not worth the inquiry on your credit go else where

WASTE OF TIME!~

Good credit, never late, high income - not enough reasons for them to approve my loan request. Just like any other bank - they come on strong and promising and deny you with a rapid speed if you don't fit they perfect idea borrower, which I frankly do not know who can be. Based on my experience and reading other reviews here - do not waster your time with this pretend to be a good lender.

Approved with 720 FICO Score

We were looking for a $50,000 unsecured loan to finance an inground pool. The pool company we were using referred us to Lightstream. After reading a ton of reviews that indicated that you must have excellent or perfect credit I almost did not bother applying. Our credit is not horrible but not perfect ether. My FICO score was 720 and my husband's is 745. Things we did have in our favor were the fact that both my husband and I have worked at our jobs for over 25 years and we have quite a bit of money in our pension and 401k. I finally bit the bullet and applied at 3pm ET on good Friday. We got a phone with 15 minutes asking a couple of minor questions and then received an email asking that we upload a copy of our most recent paychecks. Once that was complete we got an approval email within an hour. Definitely the most painless loan process I have ever experienced.

Excellent and Super fast A++++

I make over 200k a year. My score is low because of the amount of credit I have. Was looking for 2 loan refinances and no other lender would listen. LightStream did. A few questions, a few documentations sent and funds were in my account the next day!! Over 40 years of loans and this was by far the simplest, most painless experience I ever had. Hats off to you guys. Excellent and fast. Thanks.

Nothing to complain about

Went smooth, fast and was successful.
I love the fact that there is no lien on the car.
A day later I told my wife to apply as well as she is in the need of a car. Same experience for her.

I think It helps if you have a credit score above 800 and have 2+ times the requested amount in liquid assets that you can pro****.asking for $20,000 loan - need to have $40,000+ in savings. That has been my experience anyways.
