This company is disorganized and over complicated. I have re financed my vehicles a handful of times in the past with other companies. Never have I had the issues that I have had with Tresl. The paperwork they ask you to fill out has a number of things that it tells you to do that is then contradicted somewhere else in paperwork. There are signature fields that are highlighted as “required” that are not actually required. Like the signature of the inspector at DMV... that is not required. Also, be sure you have full approval before wasting hours and hours of your time to complete the paperwork, things that you have to get notarized, changing your insurance to show them as the lender, and driving to drop of Fedex package for shipping. I asked very clearly if I was approved based on my wife’s pay stubs, our tax returns, and my 1099. Grant from Tresl assured me that I was already approved and just had to complete paperwork for title transfer. Did everything that was required for the “title department”, only to find out that they now wanted three months of my bank statements. They already had asked for and received multiple proofs of income. This company sucks on many levels and I will never use them after my initial experience. Big fail TRESL!!

Lazy & unresponsive
Submitted a refinance application with Tresl through Mr. Aaron S. but after speaking with him once, never heard back. Got the refinance from another bank-but being lazy & unresponsive is no way of doing business today.

Horrible customer service.
Horrible customer service. I have been trying to speak with a live person over the phone to discuss the status of my application. Called Finance Advisor Jon Parton several times and no answer. Left message for Compliance Manager to call back and never got the call. Awful service, waste of time.

Disappointed!!!!!
Be careful of IFS and all other MIDDLEMAN!!! I checked pre-qualified auto refinancing options from Credit Karma. I saw 3.7% from IFS, which was about 1% lower than my current loan's APR. Fine, I thought I might be able to save some bucks with this offer. I applied for the loan and then I started receiving phone calls from IFS's representative asking for my detail information including VIN of my car. I thought things will go smooth, but that didn't happen!!! FIRST, after I provided my information to that guy, I noticed there were two hard credit inquiries from them. One, the day when I applied for the loan. Second, the the day when I gave additional information to that IFS guy. I immediately called him asking why they ran two credit inquiries hurting my credit. He simply said they run only once!!! BUT how come I got two inquiries in my credit report??? This is clearly UNFAIR to customers!!! I have my doubts that they are telling the truth. SECOND, he called me saying my loan application is approved with 3.72% APR for 48 months of loan terms. He sent me documents to sign online which mentioned only the approved loan amount and monthly payment for next 48 months without showing the approved loan APR! I asked him why APR is not given in the document. He said that will appear in the final contract paper. Ok fine! MOST INTERESTINGLY... I figured out that I will actually end up paying more in interest (plus fee) in this IFS approved loan over the life of the loan (48 months) with 3.72% APR than I will pay in my current loan with 4.6% APR. Surprising game of numbers!!!!!!!! I emailed the same guy asking how come I end up paying more in a loan option with a lower APR. He just replied that I will rather save $200 with IFS loan without explaining to me how will that be the case. After my email on confusing numbers of loan interest, he neither called nor emailed me asking what is my decision on his loan offer. Rather I noticed they closed my loan application after 3 or 4 days of that last email communication. Why? Don't you think they should at least ask me about my decision on the loan offer!! Thanks to IFS, I have two hard credit inquiries to remain for next 2 years! My suggestion and lesson: Cut out middleman, go with the real lenders!!! Dealing with middleman is not a hassle-free task!!!

Hard credit hit
I was just trying to figure out what I would get for a loan a rough guess. It turns out they pulled a hard credit report even before talking to me. I didn't even call them until they called me the next day. When I asked about it I got hung up on. So my credit isn't that great to start with and now they lower it even more.

Waste of time
Poor follow up and the rep they assigned me to was not friendly. I sent information several times and basically not following up only with a nasty email saying if I didn't provide the info he would close the application out even though I sent the info many times. A week later I get an email with a rate and that's all. I already found a refi company by that time with a better rate then offered, waste of time and an inquiry.

Disappointed based upon past reviews
This company took almost 1 week to get back to me and once they did the rate was not competitive to their peers. Every scenario is different I get that but I was able to find a lender that cut my rate in half. The service was extremely disappointing based upon previous reviews and if you cannot control the rate at least control the service aspect.
