Home purchase
To the benefit of my client, Jill Willy provided the best interest rates, the fees and closing cost were excellent. Jill's responsiveness was great which is much needed in a transaction. However, her customer service skills were lacking. This was my client's first experience in purchasing a home. They had questions and were nervous throughout the process. They did not feel they could ask the many questions they had for Jill because she made them feel inadequate. Clients need to feel understood and valued we can not lose sight of that anywhere in the process of home buying.

The positive part of our experience was that Jill was extremely efficient in getting things done in a timely fashion. She was very knowledgeable and competent. She took the time to call, even during after hours/on her own time.
However, we were called ON OUR WAY to the closing and told we would have to pay $1300 in closing fees. We were very clear with the fact that we did not want to pay any closing fees, as we had just gone through selling our house. When we discussed our frustration with Jill she just kept pointing out that “we had other choices” which all would have put us in a worse position. Then she implied that we spent the money, which was very rude in my opinion.
So, if you are prepared to pay unexpected fees at the last minute you will be satisfied. That, unfortunately, ruined the experience for us. Otherwise, it would have been great, but that was a huge disappointment to be told one thing and the complete opposite happening.
