THANK YOU DLJ FINANCIAL INC.!!

On August 16th, 2011, I signed up for Lending Tree. On October 6, 2011, DLJ Financial, Inc. closed my loan with a 30 year fixed refinance at a rate of 3.88%. I initially signed up for a 4.12% loan and they even floated it down to 3.88% when the market dropped in early September. I was previously paying 6%. THIS LOAN IS SAVING ME $7403.64 PER YEAR!!! Huge Thanks to Jesse Somberg and Colette Penkal at DLJ Financial, they made the process painless, and they have definitely earned my business in the future. THANK YOU GUYS!!!

The two individuals I worked with at DLJ (broker and loan processor) were immediately available throughout the process, and the broker was open and straightforward regarding all the ins and outs of the terms and conditions. I felt like he was trying to rehabilitate the terrible reputation the mortgage lending industry earned for itself for its part in the financial collapse and ensuing recession. I did talk with three other broker / lenders and DLJ was by far the most accessible and transparent.

Refinancing our home was a very postive experience with DLJ. Right from the beginning the loan officers seem to understand our specific need and worked up options quickly. Even with a small bump along the way, a solution was worked out immediately. Very professional and make you feel like you are a very important customer to them. Highly reommend DLJ.

Superb job on 1st Refi

I took my time making sure that I knew what route was best for my first refinance so I would feel more confident during the process. I am glad that I chose to work with Jesse Somberg and Janeen Cadwell. They were wonderful answering my questions and stuck to their word on each and every line item.

I recently refinanced my home with DIJ financial, Inc. They are very knowledgeable and responsive. They provide me with customized service based on my special requirements. Easy, but not perfect

This was a very easy, relatively painless re-fi, but I had to keep on top of smaller details, as my loan agent would forget (appraisal waivers and PITI). Processor was excellent, great communication. CONS: fees due to current lender not discussed, resulting in smaller cash out than expected, the aforementioned lack of attention to details, no updates (I had to call weekly for status) and once paperwork was signed I never heard from loan agent again, nor have I to this day. Oh well, he got paid but won't get referrals.

What I thought I bought

DLJ insisted they could get me a home equity loan. I have excellent credit . I told them from the outset I wanted a check-book and a credit line, no cash up front. So after correcting two inaccurate application forms, with DLJ not being truthful with me about monthly payments being based on the credit balance, after three months I received an up-front check for the full amount. Then the buck started being passed between the lender and DLJ about who was responsible for the error. I complained to Lending Tree which was GREAT at fixing the situation by getting DLJ to agree to refund to me any interest charges that resulted from the month-long delay in the lender accepting and accounting for the repayment to them of the initial check.

Check these guys first

I was in need of a home equity loan and did not want to refi my first. DLJ Financial came through in a timely with the product I wanted and at a reasonable rate. Most importantly, when I called with questions they phoned me back quickly. These guys are on the top of my list for next time.
