The Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company has been helping customers since 1909. Inspired by hometown values and committed to being responsible and caring for each other, we exist for the benefit of our customers. And, like our customers, we thrive on relationships and building genuine, enduring connections. As a Mutual company our focus isn’t about increasing share prices. It’s helping customers reach their financial goals. What that means if you’re considering a new home purchase or refinance, you can feel secure knowing Mutual of Omaha Mortgage exists solely to do right by our customers, every time. We understand that to some companies a loan is a loan is a loan. That’s not us and it’ll never be. Buying (or refinancing) a house is more than a financial decision. It’s the promise of a life you want to build and the memories you want to make. And that’s why before we talk home loan solutions, we focus on you and your needs.
It was good experience
It was easy
And fast and also a good experience
Yeah I want to check for credit card and available loan
Closed with Lender:
They will ding your credit without telling you!!
Agent Brittany Sandlan #1835*** acted like she was doing a soft pull of my credit but did a hard pull which appeared on my credit report. There was no reason to do a hard pull because I was just asking about HELOC options which she said she would look into. She comes back after hitting me and my wife's credit scores to pitch a financial product I wasn't interested in because Mutual isn't offering HELOCs right now.
If you knew that Brittany, why did you run my credit and then pitch me a cash out refi?
Shady business practice.
Ran my credit without permission
I checked on LT to see my options. A lady from Mutual of Omaha calls and asked what was I looking to do concerning my refinancing. She then goes into telling me how much I owe on my home and other information I didn’t disclose. I ask if she ran my credit she tells me yes, she had to to see what she could offer. I was not asked or gave permission to run my credit. I had already said I did not want to receive text messages prior to her calling. I do plan on filing a formal complaint, however since Lending Tree provided them with my information I wanted consumers to beware.
