Absolute worst experience with a lender! They strung me along for months and canceled my rate lock without talking to me. Criminal in my opinion!

Newfi Does Not Have Time to Process Your Loan
I submitted my application June 24 for a no cash out refi of my current home loan . All documents requested were provided promptly and the appraisal was in by July 8. I have perfect credit, a 40% loan to value and enough cash on hand to pay off my existing loan.
Initially I was very impressed with the online processing of my application. As I uploaded documents the system showed my progress. Once I had everything in, everything ground to a halt.
As of 8/8/16 I still do not have loan docs and the agent handling my account has stopped returning my calls. His most recent communication was their loan demand is very high. I had been promised we would close in July. I stopped my automatic payments to my current lender. I sent a check today that may or may not be received in time. If I pay a late payment it will be the first in my life. I am 67 and have had dozens of loans.
