Consumer direct for Costco members
Their rates and fees for Costco member was great and my loan officer get 5 star. But!... the process was a bit complicated due to too many out sourcing services, otherwise I would give a full set of 5 stars. To make best of this service I would suggest get your own local closing attorney (or escrow) and your own local title company to avoid misunderstanding and confusion which I had to go through

Great Experience With Some Bumps
Great experience overall but there were a few issues that delayed our closing. Overall everyone at ConsumerDirect was very kind and easy to get ahold of. However when our processor was out of office on vacation, I had trouble getting ahold of an alternative contact and receiving paperwork we needed to proceed with our closing as scheduled.
However, even with the frustration of those delays, I am still happy with our decision to go with ConsumerDirect. Was the best rate available and had no additional fees on their end. Also our Loan Officer, Charles Petruzzi, was excellent and was always available to speak. Highly recommend specifically using Charles. Would recommend to anyone but just make sure you are proactive in communications!

Great service, easy tools
Michael Durand and his colleagues supported me in every step of my refinancing process. Michael provided clear document requirements upfront and the additional documents were easily described The electronic online system for document management and signatures was fast and easy to use. They made it easy to manage and no time consuming confusion throughout the entire project.
