Good rates, but terrible service!

They gave me good rates, but the service I received was terrible. I had to talk to 3 different agents because the first 2 never called me during our set "appointments." The 3rd one I dealt with still gives me anxiety. The demeaning way he talked to me and spammed my phone felt like I had an abusive boyfriend. He gave me a fixed rate and said that my loan amount would increase by $9000 (he did not even give me any other options). When I asked him why the closing costs & fees were that expensive, he said "it does not matter. You're going to save money in the long run. You don't need to focus on this increase right now." I told him I would think it over before placing an application and that I would call him in 3 days because I had very busy work days ahead . However, he still called daily (and called 3 consecutive times if I didn't answer) saying that the rates are lower and I need to act fast because the process is time sensitive. He even got upset with me when I told him that I was working and could not make room for 30 minutes to go over the application with him.
I ended up going with a different company because 1) the other company had much better rates and less closing fees 2) I felt that the other company actually cared about me 3) I could not stand the idea of dealing with this agent for another second. I professionally texted the Quicken Loans agent that I was moving forward with a different company, and he texted me back with a very rude text saying I was making the wrong choice and wasted his time. I thought that was the end of it, but this agent called me 3 times again the day after even when I already told him I did not want to work with him anymore.

Hidden and Sneaky Process - Not so #1

I figure I told the sales rep he was being sneaky and dishonest, so it is OK to tell everyone.
They would not disclose a rate and payment until we forced them to. Just vague ranges, plus a tank of gas. We asked about buying down the rate. He didn't dsclose he had already done that. Almost 10K added to the loan to buy down the rate. Never disclosing it. I saw it one the documents I signed and called him out on it. I told him that was dishonest.
They could have a much more transparent process.

I am confused with the immediate seliing of my mortgage!

I was assured that I would be able to reset my mortgage after 90 days and a significant payment. This was to cost no more than $250. I would just bet that the terms are not the same with a new lender. I was told that Quicken retains their loans and this is immediately proven wrong! I just hope I have the information to make my first payment arrives soon.
