This was my first time to experience refinancing a home. I was totally surprised. Patrick C. was the first person I spoke with. He was very pleasant and willing to talk to another family member who was helping in my behalf. Patrick C. explained the whole process from beginning to end and kept in touch with me during each and every aspect of the process. If I had questions Patrick C. let me know I could call him and he would get back with me. He did.
Patrick C. made this experience as less stressful for me as he could.
This was first time experience I will never forget.

A very simple and extremely quick process. AAAA+++++ this company is Royal United Mortgage. I would highly recommend them to anyone or any business for all of there financial needs. All my questions wre answered very quickly. I developed a good relationship with my loan advisor CS. Frist I would like to say refinancing scared me to death and worried about the whole process.
Well, the whole process went very fast and efficient. Closing was completeled smoothly thanks to fully completed paperwork in order. I don't believe that I have ever had a finance and closing that has ever been faster. Thank You for a pleasant experience. Loren S. was very professional, knowlagable and friendly. I have referred all my co-workers and friend who are even thinking about a refinance to call Royal United first.
Can not say enough about the overall experance and Loren was the best ever it helping the pain of the process not so painful.

Very pleasurable business experience with Royal United.

Not what I asked for

I submitted a request for a simple 10 year, $15,000 home equity loan. I was matched with this company and they don't even do that kind of loan, only 1st mortgages or home equity loans over $50,000. Not only that, but the refinance that they wanted me to do would have costed me over $13K in interest over 10 years, and I wouldn't even get the $15K that I was looking for now, only $13.5K. Definitely not an offer that has the customer's best interest in mind.

Royal United Mortgage Response

Royal United has excellent reviews specific to customizing options, timely responses, follow-up, customer service, and value. In reviewing the facts surrounding the case below, the client was offered multiple loan options allowing them to receive the $15,000 they needed to cure their immediate need. In addition, the loan options presented actually lowered the clients total interest payback by over $40,000; when basing it against their current situation. Royal United certainly has Home Equity Loan options offered at any loan size. In this case, it was not in the clients best interest to offer just a $15,000 Home Equity Loan option as it would not better their overall financial position and ultimately cost them more total interest than they should have paid over time. Royal United takes a customized approach to mortgage lending. We take the time to listen to our customers and understand the goals they have by obtaining a new loan. Once we fully understand the clients goals, we utilize our entire product line to customize loan solutions that address not only the clients short-term objectives, but also their long term financial well being. In the case above, Royal United was not going to recommend a loan to a client that was not the very best option that the client qualified for.
