Bad agent Bad experience, Bad customer service The real BBB
The start of the process went well and I had confidence in Mr Duke, Shame on me. Look at MR Dukes reviews he has been doing this business for 24 years, Mr Duke informed me. well I should have looked at that ,I did not my mistake who in 24 years of doing business with customers only has 54 total reviews and of that 54 all were positive RED FLAG DO NOT DO IT. He only has 54 good reviews is more likely in 24 years HOW MAY BAD well according to this company NONE . NOT LIKELY!! Well this should tell you all that you need to know about the company and MR Duke. Well now for the reason I give this positive review HUH I was assured by MR Duke that he could get my loan approved and that everything looked good from his side. Well not so as I was denied not officially but verbally unless I could borrow$ 3800.00 against an asset to show I had liquid assets, well if I borrowed from another asset it would not be liquid anymore. The reason for this was because I own a house free and clear and own half of the house next door, which by the way is gutted for renovations, but they say that I live in the gutted house and not in the house which has been renovated and very nice ,oh and has all my furniture and clothes ect in it ,which was very evident as the appraiser took pictures inside and outside. The main reason was that I only have one mailbox and that is in front of the house that is in process of renovation. I think most would agree if you were in my shoes, that it is just as easy to walk next door and get my mail as opposed to having to change credit card billing , social security, drivers license, power bills water bills, insurance bills WELL you get the idea .OH by the way they could have checked usage of electric and water to verify where I live and then there is the homestead exemption only on the house you live in,in Florida. There was a problem with my name also as I was given a name at birth on my birth cert but was neve called by that name ever, I have a Federal aviation commercial Pilots License and an Airframe and powerplant license as well as my social security, my Medicare, my HOME, my car ,my Home INSURANCE, all of my credit cards,my Covid Vac card water bill, my cable bill, Oh by the way no cable in the other house, Oh no walls just studs,I guess this must be the new style for decorating houses that you would want to liv in. I gave these people 600.00 for an appraisal PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE insist they take it out of the proceeds of the loan so if no approval no money out of you pocket. If they will not do it RUN. NOW for the customer no service. I called the main # and talked to a young man ,I asked to speak to a manager he said they were probably gone for the day, but could possibly be there and would call that eve if in or if not would call the next day well. STILL WAITING . IF you are looking for a home loan look hard before going with these people
Received 1st call from Justin. Told him I was not interested. His replay, " You have to be, I have your social". I said again that I was not interested and hung up. He called right back saying "You gave your social, I have your social". I said again that I was not interested and hung up. He called a third time and was even more rude saying "I have your social". Like it was some kind of threat??. I hung up again amd called the number he had called me from. A woman answered amd apologized for his behavior amd said she was putting me on the "do not call" list. I thanked her and hung up. About 2 minutes later, Justin called again
with the "I have your social" threat. I told him I had called and put in a complaint abd that, if necessary, I would call elsewhere and complain about the company he works for. His response, "please do". Ok. Will do.
Will never deal with this company.
When talking to the lender, they told me that they did not offer helocs when that is what I put in for it. After talking, he stated that I was essentially too much work because of my assets and ended the conversation. Apparently they are not hurting for business.
