I went through an entire loan refinance process (via Costco) only to realize that the loan got transferred to AmeriHome. Now my personal information is incorrect on AmeriHome website and I cannot even edit any of my information. I can hardly get anyone on the call at AmeriHome for any kind of support.

It was bad experience
Whole process took about 6 months from initial application to closing, purpose of refi not met, promise not delivered, change not communicated in a timely manner, cost charge at last minute with promise credit not given. Worst refi experience ever.
Promise not delivered, additional cost charge at last minute and promise credit not given, changes not communicated in timely manner. Whole process took 6 months from initial application to closing. It was really bad experience, the worst refi ever.

was very bad service
I ask for quotes, never receive on time answer, the answer via email just provide the interest rate with nothing else, no estimate fees, costs, etc...
The process was unexplained, rough, confusion and horrible. Our lender was rude, short and overlooked SEVERAL items, on SEVERAL occasions. They didn’t include homeowners insurance at closing so we ended up having to pay a ton extra out of pocket. Our lender lost all of our paperwork, and made us scramble to turn in duplicate information several times. At the last minute he was having us search for full new insurance, and told us we had 2 hours to figure it all out. As a first time home buyer this was a horrible experience. I would NEVER recommend them.

Arrogant and Condescending
When we first initiated the refinance process with Fred Hirsch, we found him to be very friendly and helpful. We understood the necessity of getting documents in on time, which we worked diligently to do so. We also understood, the underwriter may need additional information from us. What truly surprised us was how we were told certain documents met the necessary requirements, only to find out a week or two later they didn't. I would think loan officers and underwriters communicate frequently, to help streamline the refinancing process for their customers? I honestly have to say, we felt like we were on a merry-go-round.
There were times we felt Mr. Hirsch was condescending to us. We experienced this condescending tone via email and on the phone. We felt he was treating us as older adults, who did not know what we were doing. This was very disturbing to us. We may be older adults, though we know what we are doing and we should be treated with respect.
Finally, after all the time and effort that went into this refinancing process, we had to stop working with Strong Mortgage. It was extremely draining on us.
I found this lender through the Costco program. They provided the lowest rate compared to other national lenders. However, their communication is virtually non-existent after they provide the closing disclosures. The lender was not responsive for multiple days before answering basic questions. The worst of it all is that the lender and his underwriter were not on the same page. Requesting the same documents multiple times and failed to send the documents to the title company forcing us to reschedule the title signing multiple times. I would highly advise against using Strong Home as your mortgage lender.

Pushy and unprofessional
We appreciated that Fred followed up the day after we submitted our refinancing request. He seemed very friendly and helpful during our phone conversation. This is our first time refinancing and Fred answered all our questions and even quoted us a great interest rate. He was agreeable to giving us the weekend to review the fine print, however, when he did not receive completed forms that following Monday, he sent an email asking if we had "ghosted" him. Unfortunately, we had a family emergency that prevented us from focusing on anything else, and after explaining this to him, his reply was curt and condescending. He told us that we needed to "rush" and show more "urgency" on the matter. When it comes to important decision making about our finances, the last thing we need is a pushy salesman trying to lock in his commission.
