To whom it concerns,

First of all I would like to apologize for an initial review I submitted in regards to Surepoint Lending. There was some mis-communication, and I took it the wrong way. I lost my temper. I kind of have a quick temper, and I was going through some stu****.and basically let things blow out of proportion. Secondly, I would like to thank Surepoint for maintaining their professionalism and taking care of the situation that was presented to us. It shows that Surepoint was the right company for me to do this
transaction with. I am satisfied that they handled this the way that they hav***.and for maintaining their professionalism. Again, sorry for me blowing things out of proportion.
Surepoint took care of the situation professionally, and I am totally satisfied with the process.

SHADY. Be wary of the line: "I'll talk to my Boss"

I feel this lender colored my loan offer in the beginning with promises they couldn't keep. The offer that they initially made was lowest of all lenders, however the terms didn't quite match what I had requested. When I asked the question, "How does changing the terms affect my offer?", I was told, "Don't worry about that, I'll talk to my Boss". Well, as it turned out, when I asked for an offer in writing to match my terms, the lender suddenly back-tracked on their initial offer and sent me something considerably higher. I ended up going with another lender because 1. The offer was better and 2. They were upfront and honest with me the entire time

We apologize that the customer was not satisfied. SurePoint takes pride in our customer service and were recently named the winner of the 2010 BBB Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics. In this case, the property type and appraised value had the potential to make a difference in the rate quoted. Factors such as appraised value are not verified until further into the process, so we often give a best case and worst case scenario. The loan advisor did tell the customer if circumstances required a rate bump, he would talk to a manager about making an exception in this case. We will address this review internally to reinforce clear communication with our borrowers. Again, we apologize for any miscommunication.

The fellow who took my call was shockingly rude and refused to even give me an idea of what SurePoint could offer. My only guess was that he was trying out a new sales tactic in which you bully and berate the customer and refuse to put an offer on the tab****.very strange approach. I'm pretty surprised to see any good ratings for this company. Maybe my experience was a fluke. I don't know for sure but I know I won't be working with them.
