It Started Off Great
The beginning of the loan process was great, The person working with us was quick to get all the documents to us and keep us updated as to what we needed to provide. We started the process in May. Towards the beginning of June when I called to check on the status I was told more information was needed. I downloaded the information on the portal. I was told everything was in the hands of the Underwriter and by the end of June should be complete. I looked at my portal and my loan stated it was still being processed. I sent several emails and left voicemails. No response. I called the corporate office just to see if there was anything else they needed from me so we could close this loan. I was told someone would get back with me. I asked if they would call me that day and I was told yes. It ha been over two weeks and no one called. I’n fact, I no longer had access to my Portal. It was only after I reached out to another lender and the lender made them aware we no longer needed their service that a manager called. Ironically his phone call stated they needed more information to close the loan. Really. When was someone going to call and make us aware? It’s been a long process. We were told in the beginning, as long as we provided all the information this loan would be closed in June. It’s July.
