Some work to do

I thought that the overall process was simple, but I felt like the customer service was unprofessional. I received several calls related to the loan after 8pm and on Saturday after 9pm. I drove 2.5 hours to get my co-applicant to sign a document and when I opened it for them to sign I received a message that the document was not available. After I was able to sign the document, several days later and another round trip, I had trouble signing the document had to call customer service twice. It was easy to get the loan but lending tree did not seem like they had helpful customer service protocol in place.

Easy process but didnt meet all my needs

The process was very easy, the loan and closing. However, they were not able to meet my needs in terms of what I asked for. The reason I went with this company was because they have some of the best rates I could find.

Very stressful loan application process

I applied for a personal loan for $12,000 with my dad as a cosigner, since FMB is one of the few banks that allow this. During the loan application process, my loan was denied twice via email, both times with barely any explanation as to why. The first time the girl who was helping me sent an email informing me of the denial at the very end of the day and then was out of the office so I had to call the phone number for them to tell me that it was denied due to them having me as Part-Time even though on the loan application, I put that I work Full-Time. Then was denied again and called in to find out it was due to them needing additional paperwork. Why they sent me a denial instead of just request the additional paperwork is beyond me. They also needed information on a credit card, yet could only give me the last 4 digits, so I took an entire lunch break online trying to figure out which card it is, only for them to tell me it's my dad's and not mine when I told them I could not find it. I ended up having to submit a total of 10 documents to them via email and a full 3 weeks after submitting the original application, the loan was approved. Finally, I had stated via email TWICE that I wanted to be set up with auto-debit, yet no auto-debit for payments was set up. Overall, this was a very stressful loan application process but they do have the lowest interest rates that I found.
