Best loan experience EVER.

A major local bank made me jump through hoops to get a HELOC, trying to lend me 3x what I need, then telling me how to use the additional funds. Light Stream Lending was incredible-- short online application followed up by a short phone call and I had my personal loan in my account within the week ! AND at a full percentage point cheaper! Easiest, most pleasant bank experience I've ever had. I'm very grateful.

Amazingly Simple!!

Wow! What an amazingly simply loan process. 10 minutes to apply, 5 minutes on the phone, 5 minutes to fax a pay check stub and VOI*****.loan approved! I received an amazing rate with great terms the next day. The money was direct deposited to my account the next business day. I can't say enough about the LightStream loan process. If you have good credit, they have money to loan you.

Great & Simple Process

Process from beginning to end was extremely easy. I did not even have to follow up! As soon as I uploaded the documents required, the loan was approved and credited to my account within 2 days. I loved the experience.

Couldn't be happier!

If you have great credit there is no reason to look any further than LightStream. Their rates are unbelievable. I am constantly bragging about the APR I got on my personal loan. Great experience, fast funding, easy auto pay. This won't be the last loan I get from LightStream. Highly recommend!

Quick and fast service. Bad loan approval.

Applied for a line of credit for home improvement. My first time through, I was counter offered a little less amount with a higher rate but still acceptable amount. Filled out the additional information only to get denied. I called the company and they claimed it was because I was claiming supplemental income through renting my unit out for a year, and explained that I had to use only the months between then and when my tax return was filed.

No problem I figure, I'll just go back into my account and make that change. Only problem was, I couldn't get to that screen on my account. Customer service rep explains I need to create an entirely new account, fill out all the information and reapply. I go ahead and do all of the process again, only to get denied yet again.

This time around, it's because, according to them, I was delinquent on credit card payments. Keep in mind, I had a credit score of 771 and out of 660 credit card payments, I missed two years ago. Really? That's .003% of bad payment history.

Oh well. At least they denied me fast. (By the way, the zip code input is broken, and would not accept any zip code in Florida. I'm in 334**).

Amazing then bad customer service!

My husband and I initially applied for a $100,000 loan and it was a great experience. Application process was easy, the associates were pleasant that we spoke to and the money was funded within a few days. Since our initial experience was so easy, when we needed another loan for $35,000 we applied with Lightstream again. The application process was very easy, they actually had most of our information from the first loan already stored. The problem came when we were asked to call back to answer some questions. The associate asked why we were applying again and why we didn't just take out a HELOC since we had so much equity in our home. She said the rates would be better. Our credit scores are 820+ so rates would have been comparable with out all the fees the bank would have charged. I explained to her that the process was so simple the first time we didn't want to hassle with all the paperwork associated with a bank loan. Isn't that part of Lightstreams whole advertisment that it's so simple! Ultimately I thought she was very rude! She made me feel inferior that we were even asking for this loan.

First loan was amazing, second loan we will go elsewhere because of a very rude associate!
