No such thing as early payment
How payments are applied is unfair to the customer when paying early because those early payments don’t count as being paid early. Any payments made prior to your due date are considered an extra payment, so if it’s your intention to pay early to reduce some of the interest cost will not happen. Customer service requires you to call in for a reallocation and then they will apply that payment that was made early with hopes of cutting some interest to your regularly scheduled payment this for you are required to pay all interest unless you make multiple payments.
