We offer personal loans starting at $1,000 with a maximum up to $25,000, depending on your state of residence and the underwriting of the loan. Loans greater than $15k or less that $1,500 are funded through our branch network. The application process is straightforward with customers typically receiving a response within the same day. Our friendly customer support team is available to assist you five days a week during regular business hours, and we have branches in 24 states around the country if you would like to discuss a loan in person.

Overall, it was a smooth process
The process was generally easy and fast. I would give 5 stars but when I went to the Chesterfield location for some technical support, they were not helpful or friendly at all. I figured out the issue on my own and I was surprised and relief to see the money in my account the next day!

Very Easy
Quick and simple to apply. The process took me about 10 minutes to complete and had a response within a day. The following day, the money was deposited into my account . Would definitely recommend. Not the best rates, but I don't have the best credit either, so.... I also like that they have a branch not far from me.

Agent at Mariner in Jefferson City, Sharon, was very personable, thoughtful, and efficient.
I chose Mariner Finance because it is situated only about one hour from where I live in Missouri, so convenience was a definite plus. Agent Sharon worked with me to get the home-repair dollars needed sooner than we'd thought possible, and took the initiative to make a follow-up call that resulted in my decision to make the drive and accept the offer. I was impressed with the ease of the process. The interest rate is a bit too high, but again--convenience and swift service led to the loan.

Good experience
The application process was simple and fast. Filled out general information, went over a tentative loan contract, and then submitted it. Completed the application in under 30 minutes. The website claims that you will have your decision same day or within one business day. I applied on a Friday so I didn't expect anything until Monday. Monday comes and I hear nothing. I then called on Tuesday to check the status of the application, but they said they were unsure and I would have to wait. I was told they would either call me or email me if I was approved. Waited a few more days and then found out on Thursday that the loan was approved. It definitely takes a few business days for them to approve your application, so do not apply thinking you'll get a same-day approval as their website states. After receiving the email that the loan was approved, I received the funds that Friday, so they were disbursed quickly which was really nice. Currently, I am waiting for an email regarding my loan and how to pay it. Mariner Finance has not sent me any information regarding this, but I do believe first payment is 1 month 3 days after date of loan disbursement, so hopefully they send me more information when it gets closer to payment day. All in all, they had good customer service when contacted and were friendly and helpful. The process was simple and straightforward. Took one star off because their website was glitchy and I was unable to view FAQ's as well as the misleading statement of same-day approval. Otherwise, I would highly recommend!
