CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 16, 2007 — On Sunday, during a live telecast, one lucky person will be surprised as the winner of the 2007 HGTV Dream Home at Winter Park, Colorado, and LendingTree.com will be on hand to contribute to the winner’s purse with a check for $250,000.

The custom-built home will be given away during the live hour-long special, HGTV Dream Home Giveaway 2007, on Sunday, March 18 beginning at 9:00 p.m. ET/6:00 p.m. PT. One of the network’s popular on-air talent will be somewhere in the United States to award the grand prize, including the LendingTree.com check, to the unsuspecting winner. The total package for the winner is worth approximately $2.5 million.
